Dealing with standard bank ***** is a nightmare. It's been a week since I logged my claim with no communication from the bank aside from a SMS I get every two days saying they are investigating. There is no way to speak to the investigators or get any information on what is happening. I have even managed to track the company that facilitated the ***** and emailed them with all the information I managed to obtain and still nothing. I don't even know if the investigators received this information because you can only send it to a generic ***** email. I have been with standard bank since I was a kid. I have private banking, a personal loan, standard bank sim card, car insurance and car financing with them and if this is how they communicate with their clients I am going to move everything to a different bank as soon as my accounts are settled
SAPD must be the worst police service in the world. Today is my third time coming to speak to the person handling the accident office (Other two times she was not here at all) been waiting over an hour and she still hasn't showed up
Holding up my claim because they expect me to go back to the police station to get a copy of the accident report because they refuse to pay the R6 the police requested paid for a copy. Thought the point of insurance was to not have hassles like these. I even said they can debit me that R6 since I bank with them too but now I need to arrange for a car and take off work so I can go back to the police station to sort this out
Took my faulty 3080Ti in on the 10th of January and still waiting for this to be resolved
I am extremely unhappy with the service I'm currently receiving. I upgraded to prestige banking about a month ago and went in 2 days ago to get my standard bank sim since it includes free data etc with my prestige account. Get there need to pick up the sim and they tell me I need to phone their mobile division to activate the sim. Called them while in the bank to be told according to their records I'm still on Elite and I must email them proof that I'm on Prestige. So I need to send the same bank I have the account with proof that I in fact have the account? What a joke and to make things worse one of the consultants working there overheard and said hell sort things out so he emailed them the proof and ccd me in and now 2 days later still no response from the mobile division and on prestige I supposedly have a private banker I can call anytime I have issues but he's also impossible to get a hold of. At this point I want to start looking to move all my accounts I have with them
Will NEVER use telkom again I canceled my account 2 months ago and got an sms confirming it was successful and got charged again at the beginning of this month and this happened a few years ago with my LTE contract as well
Terribly slow service in branches after sitting and waiting for an hour of waiting I ended up leaving
I have a pending transaction authorization on my account for an order I canceled, the company I canceled it from already gave me the authorization codes to cancel the transaction but the bank just keeps transferring me and no one can help me cancel this they are utterly useless
My debit order for my vehicle went off on the 31st of March I've been receiving calls since the 2nd of April from them telling me I haven't paid yet and I tell them every time that the debit order went off and they need to correct this and every time they tell me it will be solved the next they and now more than a week later I'm still getting calls and then still being told "Tomorrow" Both the finance account and my debited account is with standard bank but somehow they can't fix this. This is easily the worst service I've ever received from any business.
Experienced terrible service today, my vehicle finance debit order went off on the 31st of March and I got a phone call and sms today saying my account is behind and that I haven't paid since February. My account that the debit order went off of is also standard bank. After telling them it went through they said they can only look at it next week and if I don't get a response by Wednesday I should call again. They were so quick to phone to tell me my account is behind and I didn't pay but need days to rectify their mistake.
