This agency is a *****. I bought a property in Monaco. Which they were managing with tenants. After tenananta have vaccated the property there we Damages on the property which the agency is reponsible through the tenant deposit. I had to do the revamps my self as a new owner. Ive send them an invoice which they went AWOL. I do not recommend anyone to use this *****e agency...

I had an awful time moving out of a property leased through this agency. The agent, David, told me to remove all my belongings from the flat without any prior notice (as he proceeded to watch me grab couches, fridges, beds by myself because he wouldn't allow me time to call someone as he was in a rush), leaving me scrambling to arrange overnight storage, transport, and emergency accommodation — all because he was “too busy” on the last day of the month and I had to be out before my lease was up. Signing the lease initially was just as frustrating. You’re required to go to their inconveniently located offices, with no flexibility or consideration for tenants’ time. Had to walk in the rain and the agent who was returning to PTA central, the same way had to be begged by his colleagues to offer me a lift back - insane. Oh and my deposit was all lost due to cleaning apparently and they still wanted to charge me more. Absolutely worst experience ever. To them, you’re just another payment — no support, no professionalism. I would not recommend this agency to anyone.

<div>Good day I would like to report Johnlee Properties. I rented a flat with my elder brother in June 2022 with a 1 year contract renewable and we paid a 2 months deposit. The flay was sold and we moved out at the end of June 2024 and till now, the deposit has not been repaid. The new owner has informed me that she wanted to renovate her flat, increase the rent and handle the letting business herself. That's why the contract wasn't renewed. However, the letting agency namely Johnlee property is exaggerating damages to the house and charging us a whopping R6500 for a so called damage control. We have received a quote with exaggerated call out fees, labour fees, walls & ceiling repaint whereas the flat was never renovated for the 2 years we spent there and the so called damage is normal wear and tear. Plus, the new owner has taken control of her flat and she isn't dealing with them at all. Clearly, we are being taken advantage of because we are defenseless people with no legal representation This is outrageous that someone was asked to move out yet still can get their deposit back and even has to pay a huge amount for things like 2 small nails and 4 plastic hooks. Howrver, throughout the lease, we never owe them a cent.</div>

I have rented a property in Bergtuin from Johnlee Properties for the last 5 years and can only attest to the highest quality of service received from the whole team. From signing the contract to handing over the property keys on my last day of occupation was only a pleasure. Wikus; Marguerite and all the other staff members went out of their way to assist and support me during the 5 years. Any problems reported to them was attended to within hours and I can only congratulate them on the level of customer service I have received from them. Also, regarding my deposit return everything went smoothly and I was re-paid in full although they could have deducted money from my deposit for certain faults. I am convinced that the key to our successful relationship was the communication between us – we were always able to talk to each other and prevent any potential challenges from becoming a big problem. To Marguerite, Wikus and Johan Rudman – THANK YOU! If ever needed again I will know whom to turn to and will definitely recommend you.

As landlord, Johnlee has meant a lot to me over the past 14 years. They handle all the problems and regularly do inspections of properties - before and after each rental contract. They always take photo's of everything and so everything is on record in case of dispute regarding maintenance, deposits, etc. I only have one small issue: Repairs and maintenance by the company they use are quite expensive. With that sole exception, I can highly recommend Johnlee properties.
