Another day, another disappointing experience at Kauai Menlyn Maine. It’s becoming very clear that there is a serious lack of control when it comes to both service and quality. There seems to be no visible management oversight, and it’s concerning to constantly see new staff who don’t appear properly trained.
I’ve now had multiple occasions where I ordered a Peanut Butter Bomb (large smoothie), only to receive something that tastes completely watered down. For the premium price you pay at Kauai, this is simply unacceptable. There is little to no flavour, and it honestly makes you question what ingredients are actually being added — if any. I even tried to observe the preparation, and it didn’t look like much effort or care was going into it.
On top of that, the service is extremely poor. I had to ask five times about my order, and still ended up waiting around 20 minutes. To make matters worse, customers who ordered after me received their food and drinks before I did.
This level of inconsistency, poor quality, and lack of communication makes it very difficult to trust the brand. For what customers are paying, one expects far better standards and professionalism.
I hope this issue is addressed urgently, as this is not the experience one expects from Kauai.
