On 19 January 2026 a payment was taken from my linked card via the Kauai app that doesn’t match any item on their menu – it’s literally impossible to build that total. I didn’t authorize it, I never placed that order, and I still don’t know how they managed to pull it off. I reported it immediately. For a month Kauai support went silent unless I chased them, and they got me nowhere. I eventually left a review on their head-office Google listing; someone finally rep**** and sent me to a complaint link. I filed it. Silence again. No refund. No explanation. No urgency from a company I used almost daily. I was a loyal customer. But I’m done. If they’ll ignore a *****ulent charge and ghost the victim, they don’t deserve anyone’s business.

I have always wondered what Kauai's food and beverages are like. There has always been a hype. As far as "healthy food" is concerned, sure, very healthy, but tasteless... SUPERFOOD salad, I just paid R188 for a salad and a smoothy CACAO MIN. I know what is cheap for one is expensive for another, I don't mind paying for good food, but this is ridiculous. I don't want anything from Kauai, I think for their hype, their food should have tasted better....

I go there at least 3 times a week and the service is exceptional. The staff are friendly and make a big effort to make everyone feel happy, and the food is perfect. There are a couple of very talented Cappuccino ‘Artists’. If one admires the art they say it’s Made with love. 5 stars from me

I recently had a very bad experience with your staff at Kaui Virgin Active in Cedar Square. I was contacted by a manager named James who informed me that he would call me that Monday after his investigations to provide me with feedback on my complaint. It has been 3 weeks since he was supposed to call me. Clearly your organization and staff do not keep their promises or care about customer service. Absolutely Pathetic. I know want to speak to James manager or a Director!!!

It’s unfortunate that the Kauai at virgin active at Karaglen has such poor service. The staff are unfriendly, slow and greet on upon you greeting them. It’s a very unpleasant experience but for mere convenience after gym since it’s situated within the gym you have no choice but to go there. I have never seen such lack of enjoyment in the work people do and it clearly shows when they are making your order or serving you. This has happened on too many occasions to list. It’s very upsetting.

I'm extremely disappointed about my experience at Kauai, Virgin Active Dainfern this morning. After completing my workout, I headed to the counter to place my order, patiently waiting for the gentleman in front of me to finish his transaction. He purchased two bottles of water, and once he was done, I approached the cashier, expecting to place my order. However, I was taken aback when the cashier informed me that they were not yet open and couldn't assist me . I was confused, to say the least. The gentleman in front of me had just been served, and I was wondering why I was being told they weren't open. I decided to note my feedback and headed to the changing rooms, hoping that maybe there was some sort of misunderstanding. But here's the thing – literally a minute later, I walked out, and the same cashier was assisting another couple.Why was I told they couldn't assist me if they were going to serve other customers immediately after? The lack of clear communication and inconsistent service is what really got me frustrated. If Kauai at Dainfern Virgin Active isn't open or is experiencing delays, why isn't there a massive sign indicating their trading hours or a notice explaining the situation? It's frustrating that other customers were being served while I was left in the unattended. I honestly felt this morning that Kauai at Dainfern Virgin Active don't value or serve customers like me. Given the circumstances, I'm afraid this will be my last visit to this branch. This experience has left a sour taste in my mouth. Kauai at Dainfern, you can do better – just be transparent and communicate with your customers.

I had a very bad expirience at Kauai irene link, i purchased 3 smoothies and i was told right at the end that they dont have lids, on top of that the smoothies looked very horrible. Im very disappointed
