had a very disappointing experience at KFC Steeldale Mall (Johannesburg South).
I waited over 30 minutes i was there in the evening at around 9pm to 09:20 in the drive-thru, which completely defeats the purpose of a drive-thru being quick and efficient. While waiting to reach the payment bay, a car ahead of me was stopped for an extended period because the driver was chatting and hitting on one of the staff members, despite a long queue of cars behind them. This was extremely unprofessional and caused unnecessary delays.
When I eventually reached the pay point, the staff member assisting me had a poor attitude, which made the experience even worse. To add to that, when I collected my food, my receipt was withheld and not included in my food packet. I only realised this later, which is unacceptable for transparency and customer records.
Overall, the service was slow, unprofessional, and poorly managed. This experience has seriously lowered my trust in this branch, and management needs to address staff behaviour, efficiency, and basic customer service standards urgently. I have uploaded my bank statement and the food i bought. please attend to this as a matte of urgency!
