The worst service I have ever got is at Kia Lydenburg! I bought a second-hand Mahindra double cab pick-up from them but what a struggle! Yaseen, the salesman, wasn’t very keen on helping the first time a contacted him. His brother called me and sent me videos of the bakkie. I asked Yaseen for the videos, but he never sent me anything. After I told him that I want to buy the bakkie he was very fast to complete the paperwork for the purchase. From there it went downhill even further. We arranged that they deliver the bakkie at my brother-in-law, but they never pitched on the arranged day. They apparently forgot. The next day my brother-in-law had to go and fetch it from them and when I told Yaseen that this is unacceptable, he laughed at me. Never apologising for the mistake and just told me to not get so upset. They forgot to give the spare keys to my brother-in-law and so it took them around 3 weeks to send me the keys and other paperwork I needed to register the bakkie in the Free State. Every time I had to contact Yaseen. He never made contact on his own and sometimes just ignored me. When I eventually got the papers and went to the licence department to pay the disk they told me the bakkie wasn’t put through the roadworthy test. I phoned Yaseen, who told me that they did put it through the test but that the papers must have expired because I took too long. I bought the bakkie on the 20th of September 2024, I went to the licence department on the 10th of October 2024. There is thus no way that the papers could have expired if it is valid for 60 days. Yaseen said that this is now my problem, and I must pay again to put the bakkie through the test. I would not advise anyone to do business with them!

I bought a new Kia Pegas 1.4 in May 2024. I am frustrated because this dealership does NOT respect customers. The license disc and number plates have NOT been sent to me. It is well over two months since purchase and the permit expired a long time ago. Each time I enquire, they make empty promises. I have spoken to Surprise Maloka but nothing comes out. This dealership lacks professionalism and ethics to say the least. After this, I will report them to the authorities.

I would not advise anyone to purchase a vehicle from KIA Motors Lyndenburg. We recently purchased a vehicle from KIA Motors Lyndenburg and the dealership did not disclose that the vehicle we are purchasing has many underlying faults. The dealership advised us that the car we purchased has an extended warranty only to establish that the warranty has not been activated when we took the vehicle for repairs. The Manager who is known as YASEEN of the dealer who is also an owner of the dealership has an appalling attitude, when we’re advising him of all the issues that the vehicle is experiencing he told us that we should contact Avis for a courtesy car if we are experiencing issues for the vehicle, which his establishment sold to us. He made it clear that he will under no circumstances discuss a "substitute vehicle" on the current vehicle that they sold to us. He further stated that we should consult his workshop and ask them why the engine light of the vehicle came on a light which they merely diagnosed by switching off without establishing what the actual root cause was. We are now at a point of wanting to return the vehicle back to KIA Motors and cancelling the existing contract with them and that the bank reverses the transaction. All due to the mistreatment that we received from the KIA Motors Lydenburg as well as their dishonesty in terms of not disclosing that issues we are experiencing. We ask that Hello Peter please intervene in this matter as assist us in exposing KIA Motors Lydenburg with regards to our complaint.
