Dear Sir/Madam, I hope this message finds you well. It has now been nine (9) days since my initial request, sent on 23 July 2025, regarding a formal inspection into the employment practices at Monument Hardware, Kempton Park. To date, I have received no acknowledgment or feedback from your office, and no action appears to have been taken. This delay is deeply disappointing and raises serious concerns about the Department’s responsiveness to potential labour law violations. I submitted a detailed account of possible non-compliance with the Basic Conditions of Employment Act (BCEA) and other statutory obligations, including: • Excessive working hours (approx. 254 hours per month) without overtime pay. • Work on public holidays with no additional compensation. • ******** wage deductions without payslips or breakdowns. • No contract of employment issued. • Uncer*****y regarding UIF registration. • No proof of salary payments or statutory deductions. • Possible falsification of records to avoid UIF and tax obligations. Despite clear evidence of ongoing exploitation, no investigation has commenced. These are not minor administrative oversights—they are serious infringements that directly affect the livelihood and rights of a young South African employee. I am now formally demanding that a Labour Inspector be assigned to visit Monument Hardware, Kempton Park without further delay to assess compliance with labour legislation and take the necessary enforcement action. If I do not receive a formal response and confirmation of action by close of business Friday, 8 August 2025, I will escalate this matter to: • The Public Protector’s Office • The Department of Labour Head Office • HelloPeter and social media platforms • Relevant labour rights organisations and legal advisors I remain hopeful that your office will uphold its mandate to protect vulnerable workers and ensure that employers are held accountable for ******** labour practices. Thank you for your urgent attention to this matter. I look forward to your immediate response. Yours sincerely, Marjan Fourie

I will advise clients to stay far away from this company and rather go to the CCMA personally. Please watch YouTube video on this company https://youtu.be/2kqzWrX0zE4

Legal Services handled my CCMA case and was paid out by my employer on 12 January. I have been trying to get hold of them since and have been unsuccessful. This is a real bad experience as they seem to be worse than my previous employer. The money was paid to Prime Labour Law Group Capitec account in Sandton.

It's sad how people wait all day at the labour law office in Bellville waiting to be helped they only help a certain amount of people and the rest has to go home and come the next day again ,people are using money to get there only to be sent home and having to wait again my wife has been there 3times without being informed of how far he claims are and she is pregnant the staff has sat and done nothing within the time of loadshedding and when the electricity has gone back up they have taken a break this is a shame because what can be done in two hours is a lot. I am disgusted with how the service works at this place because these people also have homes and families to care for but have to sit outside the entire day in a line waiting to be helped but only to be told to turn back they are not given a number to allocate that they may come the next day and be helped or any other better way of organized form to assure that they will not be standing in a line for nothing. This is only my opinion on the services being rendered.

Why are these people still operating and under different names, I made use of Employment Law experts, which is the same company as Labour law services. They have been paid my employer as per the Settlement agreement drawn up by Employment law experts. They do not respond to my calls or emails. I have laid a case of fraud against them. They have not paid me my settlement. Tell me why they are still operating and allowed to scam people. This is unconstitutional, they are thieves, operating as qualified lawyers, stealing our money, can these people be brought to justice. Enough is enough.
