Great service
I live in a remote area and do most of my purchases online. I can say I have come across the whole spectrum , useless , ****s , and so on. Sharon at laptop solutions is definitely top class, restored my faith in online purchasing. Efficient , great at communication and response. I will definitely be buying more from them

Great service

Selling old stock
Ordered a new battery for my laptop. Good price, fast delivery - however, the battery manufacturing date is July 2022 (ordered in April 2025). The replacement battery is as old as the one I am replacing. Lithium batteries should not be allowed to go flat for a long period of time. After 3 years this battery has probably been empty for a long time.

NOT A LAPTOP SOLUTION!!! SERVICE SUCKS!
The worst service ever received! Rashid and Jeanette do not know how to speak to people. They do not know how to respond to emails and their admin skills suck. They are not your laptop solution, They do not know what they are doing or how to do it.

VERY SATISFIED
I placed my Order on 31 Dec 2024. I received a call to collect order on 8 Jan 2025. I ordered a keyboard for my Proline laptop to replace my older one that had faulty keys. After a bit of a struggle fitting, I got it right, and I have a keyboard that has every key that works.The new part is great! This has been a good experience, what stood out for me was that Laptop Solutions lists the 'old' serial number and model number (from original supplier), which is important when trying to track down the exact part for my laptop. Often equivalents don't work. The search for my part was not too difficult, my search worked with the model number of the part instead of the serial number. I was impressed that it actually came up with the part that i needed to order. Most websites have very poor search algorithms, however Laptop Solutions worked for me on this order. Further: I found their website very helpful where they showed pictures of the parts, so that a customer can compare with their own original. The shipping was prompt and I received the call to collect as per my request. Often companies do not follow customer requests. Laptop Solutions out sources Courier (MDS Collivery) did.

The price for the old/ancient D525 keyboard was the best in SA, they really had stock (as shown on the site). I had a human on WhatsApp to chat with and confirm I had identified the right part. When I placed the order, the automated feedback via the e-commerce system was adequate. I followed up just to be sure because I saw bad reviews here. ALL-in-ALL, I would recommend Laptop Solutions.

Laptop Solutions out of business?
I have placed a number of orders with these guys in the past and was always happy with their service. Now, however, it seems things have gone south badly! Have they closed down? There is simply no response to e-mail requests on stock availability and it's also no longer possible to phone them! I'm not impressed by this...
