We used LTSA to book a holiday in Mauritius. From the start Careen was very helpful, gave us a range of options to choose from. When we made our final payment, we received our airplane tickets, all details about the hotel, general tips and vouchers for the transfer from the airport to our hotel. We have just returned from a lovely holiday in Mauritius. Everything went smoothly and we could enjoy every minute. A big thank you to Leisure Travel Int SA.

I strongly recommend that you stay AWAY from this company, no benefits as promised were received by me. I signed up as a member on 20 June 2024 at a presentation in Bloubergstrand. The presentation promised local and international hotel accommodation at huge, discounted prices. They also presented on the resale of prebooked timeshare accommodation if you owned timeshare. This was attractive to me as I wanted to travel internationally as well as sell my annual timeshare bookings that I very seldom used. I was reluctant to sign up at the presentation but the promise of a cooling off period if you wanted to cancel the contract and the fact that a review on the Hello Peter website indicated that a refund request within the cooling off period was processed without any delays, I signed up against my better judgment. Feeling uneasy about the "too good to be true promises" as well as Leisure Travel Internationals unsteady online portal, I requested a cancellation within the cooling off period and never received a response. A follow up email was sent, totally ignored by them. To this day they continue to ignore my requests and instead provide me with useless information, e.g an updated online portal that would make reservations easier for its members to make reservations, the portal/site doesn't work. The only way I was able to request reservations was via an email to Karen. Tried booking international accommodation, and the quote received was needless to say absent of any discounts if fact the quote received was the same as what was available on any other online booking service, like Booking.com or Agoda.com - no massive discount was evident. Tried booking local hotel accommodation (via email), again no discounted rates received. Tried to resell my prebooked time share accommodation, guess what - no success on this either. Every time that I have emailed for the cancellation of my contract no response is received. I am EXTREMELY disappointed with this company for ignoring my request to cancel my contract. I will continue with my quest to get my money back and will report on the progress being made....

We went to a presentation on 28th January 2025 by Robert and Devin in Cape Town, and signed up for the full package. The login email was sent to me on 6th February 2025 and was NOTHING like what was presented. I immediately CANCELLED my contract the same day (within the legal cooling off period) and requested a full refund. On the 25th February 2025 they promised to set me up with a different website so I could do my own bookings (one of my stipulations at the original presentation) and eventually emailed one of their agents login details on the 25th March 2025 (not acceptable, as I wanted my own login) to their RateHawk website, to which I said I would check out, before confirming acceptance thereof. After proving that they are NOT cheaper than Bookings.com )or any other booking site) I again insisted that my contract is cancelled and that I receive a full refund. No response. Since then I have sent follow up emails requesting the cancellation and full refund on 4th April, 15th April, 12th May, 23rd May, 19th June with NO RESPONSE. I phoned 3 times during this time, and left messages for Karen Oelofse to phone me back - to date she has not. In desperation, on 14th August I went to their offices in Somerset West where the whole office knew who I was and my story. Tercia on reception put me on the phone with Karen (who is in the PE office) and Karen then gave me many excuses trying to justify herself, but then said she'd send my emailed requests for cancellation and refund onto higher management. She emailed on 14th and 15th August to say she is awaiting feedback. There has been no feedback. I then emailed the Director, Andre Claasen, on 20th and 25th August - no reply from him either. THIS IS BEYOND FRUSTRATING. I am contacting my lawyer now, as what they have presented is *****. It has been 6 months now since I cancelled and requested a full refund. I now see from the Hellopeter reviews that I am not the only victim.

This is a ****, I tried to cancel my contract within the cooling off period and all my emails relating to the cancellation are ignored, they respond with more useless information each time I try to cancel. Stay away from this company!!! Looks like I will have to appoint a lawyer to get my money back.

What a lot of nonsense, was told at the presentation that they much cheaper and bigger discounts compared to travel agencies and online booking platforms….. Hogwash, every quote in comparison to other quotes, comparing apples to apples @leisure travel international is more expensive. Money down the drain, do not be fooled by this invite and sales pitch!!!

What a lot of nonsense. I went for their presentation to buy in but luckily did not due to a very ************* sales rep. Then tried to book a holiday with the voucher that was given to us for attending the presentation just to find out that their quote is double what I received through agoda!
