So we were fortunate enough to get away for the Easter weekend and our destination was Marloth Park - Milkwood gust house. What a pleasant surprise. Anyone who knows Marloth Park knows it is in the bush and a few kilometers away from the Kruger National Park. Milkwood itself seemed like an average house upon arrival. To our surprise it had everything one wants to live in luxury in the bush. As with all other places, we purchased cleaning detergents, soap, charcoal and may more, which is what other places lack. We were so pleasantly surprised withan ice maker, a coffee oerculatot 2 fridges and deep freezers, a dishwasher all cleaning soaps with all utensils. Potjie pot, Slow cooker, The charcoal was ready with extra wood. There was even feed that you feed the animals that come to your doorstep....oh and a private pool. Air conditioners, fans, videos for the kids. Sundowner deck. There is so much to mention. i cannot start to explain the animals that come to your house. It was amazingly beautiful. I would suggest Milkwood guest house any time. Thank you for a wonderful stay

It is disappointing to travel far (and embarrassing to invite guests) for a holiday only to arrive at the accommodation without hot water, broken dishwasher, bed bugs and animal droppings on beds which should have been part of basic maintenance, upkeep and cleanliness. In addition, the unit had constant power failures and noise level from the pump was unbearable right at the second bedroom headboard. Additionally we had to leave two days in advance due to the lockdown. I have been in contact with the owners as well as the agent regarding the issues experienced and no feedback was received regarding the investigation.
