A one star rating should not be given to ****** ,discriminating estate agent As Adri Evangelista. So my 'Chinese" partner and i were looking for a new place too call home.I then saw Leopards Realtors listing on private property site ,initially what-sapped her no reply ,then whats aped another agent who responded promptly .We arranged a viewing which she would do and not the other agent.So off my partner goes i choose to stay home with our newborn .On arrival Mrs Evangelist a on seeing this Chinese gentleman refused to show him the property said it was not available for Foreigners.I later received many voice notes from her saying and i quote'Doll my owner wont rent to foreigners without documents and in future give a heads up to other agents.Mrs Evangelist a without asking if he had the required documents already assumed his undocumented.She also stated i should have been more transparent with his nationality and a slew of unwarranted voice notes.In future Estate Agents should clearly write in their listings.NO Foreigners undocumented or not,No Asians and whatever else they don't want.It should never be allowed in this country or anywhere else that one is discriminated by Race!Mrs Evangelista conducted herself in unprofessional manner exposing her ****** self.Never would i do business with her or advise any homeowner or renter to use her services.

If there was an option for no stars, I would select it. I used them for my first rental home. I was given a list "snag list" and left with it to fill out myself, it wasn't done jointly. Not to mention, nothing on my snag list was ever fixed in the 4 years i was there. Come exit inspection, my snag list was not brought with to distinguish what was new and no agreement on the inspection was made, I emailed the very next day advising I was not happy with the inspection and received no reply. 2 days later knowing new tenants started moving in, I started getting messages with problems in the unit. 2 weeks later, receive how much we will be getting back from our deposit and when there were issues I disagreed on suddenly, now the carpets need to be totally replaced, as per their words - "Please note we have people coming out to quote on the carpets so we are not sure if there will be any refund." keeping in mind that this is now after 2 weeks and after an amount was already given of what we will receive back. Adri's "processes" are not professional and the way she has spoken to me is degrading and belittling, she has even said to me, and I quote "you are making a fool of yourself". I was a tenant for 4 years, I paid on time, I was respectful and overall not a difficult tenant and the minute I advised I will not be renewing the lease they have nitpicked to ensure I get little to none of my deposit back despite my best efforts to sort anything that was not in order before handing over, things were redone by them and billed for from my deposit. Her partner is also the guy, Tony, that fixes the unit if there are any issues, he can never give a proper breakdown of costs he gives one price and says "includes materials and labour" when you request for a breakdown, they refuse to give you one. In the space of 3 years he came to fix our toilet countless times and Adri said she couldn't understand and said my kids probably hang on the flusher, wasn't even the flusher - fingers are always pointed back to you, it just kept running. Beware of this company, whether you are looking to use them to rent your property or whether you are looking at renting from them, once you have signed a lease you are nothing to them and are treated with no respect and will be blamed for any faults. - Note: this is just a finger tip of the issues I've had with this company.

My partner and I rented an apartment from this company, during the duration of our two year stay the agent and principal of this company has been nothing but rude and unprofessional to us. I would like to complain about an agent named Adri Evangelista. My partner and I rented an apartment from her, throughout the duration of our stay she has been blatantly rude, unprofessional and unethical. She did not check the apartment and the faults that came with when initially allowing us to rent and proceed with the proper protocols but had no issue in accepting our deposit, we then moved out and she shifts the blame unto us as if we were the ones who caused the damage yet we had told her about our concerns. She speaks with a very disrespectful tone and manner and should NEVER be in a position where she deals with people. She has tarnished the companies name and I will definitely never recommended her or this company to anybody. It is absolutely pathetic to have somebody with such uncouth behaviour to be apart of this establishment.

I would like to complain about an agent named Adri Evangelista. I rented a property a year ago through Leopard Realtors. I do understand that the deposit and rental agreement then become the responsibility of the landlord. I had a terrible experience where the landlord accused me of damage to the a wall, missing light bulbs etc when my lease was over. When I viewed the property Adri told me the previous tenant took out the light bulbs and only left one light bulb in per light. I did not list this down as a "fault" when doing the snag list. I looked after the property as I have always been proud of where I live. But when moving out the landlord accused me of breaking and repairing a wall and taking out light bulbs. I left so many messages for Adri to get back to me to confirm with the landlord that the light bulbs were taken out by previous landlord and I was happy to leave in one light bulb per light fitting. The landlord charged me R900 for bulbs and the landlord's response to me was "we would never leave you in the dark" so basically I was lying. I was not asked if I damaged the wall, I was told I damaged the wall. I later found an adverti*****t of the rental which clearly showed the damage to the wall was already there and which I never noticed as it was painted over, but I was accused of painting over the damage. I never once bought a tin of paint. I was charged R400 for putting in 6 holes in the walls to hang up a mirror (not sure if this is fair). I was charged more than I should have been for electricity without a proper reading being done. I had to live with the previous tenant's bad paint job in the rooms, faulty tiles in the patio, an oven door that did not close properly, cupboards that had hinges off. All I needed from Adri was to be a "mediator" and to come forward to tell the landlord that yes, there was only one bulb in each light fitting. That the damage on the wall was already there. I am a good tenant that takes pride in where she lives and I am honest. But I guess when it comes to money, some people will do anything to score an extra few rands not knowing how it actually affects people. It is more out of principle that I am telling my side of the story. I am not a liar - I just wish people were fair.
