ARROGANT LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE
A warning to only contact this company if you don't mind dealing with arrogance and zero customer service skills. We were told by the arrogant ***** yesterday on WhatsApp number 072 8433 116 (believe Andrew) that, "if not happy with his exciting service, he would pay us back for call out fee from his own money". He then changed his mind today and said" he would pay us back call out fee if we allowed him to return our beeping motor back to how he found it". It is not the workmanship we were complaining about, it was the condescending, arrogant way he spoke to us. He was also abrupt and rude to his assisting staff in front of his so called customer. They block customers on WhatsApp who complain about their negative tone.

Big thumbs up for LRV garage doors
I would like to acknowledge the professional and friendy service received from LHV when they quoted for and replaced my garaged door. The installation crew were very friendly and could not do enough to assist with resetting remotes etc.

Big thumbs up for LRV garage doors
I would like to acknowledge the professional and friendy service received from LHV when they quoted for and replaced my garaged door. The installation crew were very friendly and could not do enough to assist with resetting remotes etc.

LHV garage doors I& gates - Andrew guy is very *****!! Exercise Extreme caution!
I randomly picked this company off Google search _ within close proximity to Plumstead , Southern Suburbs7800 -calling to get an independent assessment from my insurers on a the repair or replacement of a garage door.I was aware of the call-out fee that would be charged by any contractor-being quite prepared for this cost.On my first call -the person named Andrew , insisted to do a remote diagnosis on my garage door problem. When I requested , an onsite visit , the tone of the conversation became aggressive.Then it took a sinister turn, with him insisting I have his R550 inspection fee in cash and payable before his actually done the onsite assessment.If Andrew is the boss at LHV garage doorsI& gates - this guy is very *****!! I would recommend extreme CAUTION!! when dealing with this supplier!!!

Totally unprofessional and rude
Andrew is the most arrogant, rude, unprofessional etc. etc. that I have ever come across. Stay away from this Company at all costs. My garage motor was installed incorrectly in that it was misaligned causing the door cables to dislodge. After quite an argument the motor was relocated on it’s mounting brackets and aligned correctly. The door now operates correctly.

Arrogant and rude
Had these guys around and the technician went a bit crazy on me. Wouldn't recommend them at all. In the process of simply asking them questions around why the gate might continues to get stuck despite many companies coming out the guy freaked out took his battery out the system and stormed off! Very bizarre experience.

LVH Doors and gates
I would not recommend LHV Doors and gates. They repaired our gate 2 months ago and now it is broken and they want to charge R550 to come and look. Surely they guarantee their work and should not be charging to come and see why 2 months later the gate is broken. Clearly no customer service.

I would not recommend LHV Doors and gates. They repaired our gate 2 months ago and now it is broken and they want to charge R550 to come and look. Surely they guarantee their work and should not be charging to come and see why 2 months later the gate is broken. Clearly no customer service.

Avoid like the plague (or covid-19)
I would not recommend this company to my worste enemy. First they dont quote on the full job (yes they were aware of the full spec before they sent the quote) then they are argumentative and dishonest in their response when I tried to get the matter sorted. Anyone who understands customer service would have tried to find a solution with the client, not threaten them to be careful what they say... etc Bottom line... go somewhere else.
