Do not buy online from Makro. I ordered, paid for and recieved confirmation of an order for samsung tv on 24 July 2024. Despite numerous calls to the so called customer service call center, I have not recieved the TV and had no clue when it will be delivered. They are still advertising the same tv and the website says they have stock. I would cancel, but reading how long others have waited for their refund to reflect, I think I will rather use all avenues available to get Makro to honour the contract they entered into.
Whatever you do don't buy from Hirsch's. They delivered a badly dented washing machine to my house. When reported their first response was to try offer me a discount to accept that dented machine, which i refused as I would have gone to a dent and scratch shop if i wanted dented machine. Over a month later I am still waiting for them to deliver the replacement machine. Each week they promise a day, only to (when I call to ask where the delivery is) promise a new date. Never seen such poor customer/ after sales service in my life.
I would not recommend this company to my worste enemy. First they dont quote on the full job (yes they were aware of the full spec before they sent the quote) then they are argumentative and dishonest in their response when I tried to get the matter sorted. Anyone who understands customer service would have tried to find a solution with the client, not threaten them to be careful what they say... etc Bottom line... go somewhere else.
