On the 10th of March I came to collect seedlings and one employee by the name of David Mogudi gave me attitude and did not want to assist me.

On Sunday I visited the nursery and all the shoppers were dutifully wearing masks, the staff - not so much. This was apparent throughout the store but most worryingly at the security checkout where social distancing norms cannot be used because they take physical possession of the receipt and check you aren't stealing. I asked the security person to make his chin strap a face mask, and after asking twice he reluctantly put it over his mouth only. At the info desk where I went to draw this breach of covid regulations to the personnel, one of the 3 also only had it over her mouth ( and the other 2 ladies were clearly in the vulnerable age group). They all 3 treated it as a joke and did nothing. When I asked them what I would have to do to make them take it seriously, report it? They laughed even louder.

About 1 month ago i visited this garden centre and as both my partner and I are registered disabled we drove to park in a disabled bay. All the bays were taken but fortunately a standard bay close by became vacant. Although this did not involve any great distance to walk it did mean that we could not open the car doors fully which my partner needs in order to exit the car easily. Of the 7 or 8 specially assigned disabled parking spaces only 3 of the cars displayed the appropriate sticker. I mentioned this to a lady at the info counter who gave me the cell number of the CEO and suggested I called her as she took no notice when staff had reported this to her before. I called this lady who was totally disinterested and claimed that these people probably were disabled but did not like to display a sticker. Today I returned to the centre to find a motorcycle parked in the disabled bay closest to the entrance. Two hours later it was still there and all the bays were now occupied. I spoke to a car guard to said it belonged to a member of staff who shouted at him if he told him not to park there. Lifestyle are quite happy to take money from their many disabled customers but refuse to monitor the use of these bays by selfish able-bodied customer. SHAME ON THEM

I recently went to the lifestyle centre as I regularly purchase from them. I took a a water pump that had a price diaplayed R109 on. As They scanned it at the till they acknowledged the actual price was almost a R1000 higher. The cashier proceeded to remove the price originally displayed of the box, called the manager and when I calmly explained it was not my mistake the manager told me I probably changed the price myself and it was not their problem it was wrong. I am a very good customer of them and I am not looking for free items but the way they handled me was utterly disgusting and being made out as a criminal was really unfair. Do not shop at this centre.
