I placed an order, for a U-shaped 7-seater/couch, on the 25th of November 2022, from Lifestyle Online furnitures, which I found off Gumtree. I was in communication with someone I assumed was the owner, by the name of Chris Amberson. We first were in communication from the 14th of November, after reviewing their work from Gumtree. From there I asked him to send me a few photos of couches that were recently done, just to see their actual work, as some of the images from their website look photoshopped/from the internet. I even drove to one of their upholstery ventures to view a couch that was about to go get delivered. My description was that I wanted this U-shaped couch to have cushioning and in a buffalo material. I even provided Chris with an image of how I wanted the cushioning to be. These changes were going to come at an additional charge/cost from the initial set price. Which I had no issue with. I only received the couch a few days after Christmas (December 2022), and when they arrived I was not happy with the final result. From the noticeable wood to the stitching to the cushioning, comfortability, and squeaky sounds when you sit, as well as the final touch-ups. If anything, the cushioning was like those matrasses they have on hospital beds (that slide off when sitting). After informing Chris about this, I even suggested they simply take their couches and refund us. This was when Chris went on about "The policy to refund is 25% and payable in 60 days". I told him that I will not accept that policy as this was not communicated to me prior to purchasing, nor did I see that policy on their website, as I saw their couches on Gumtree. This conflict was all now happening in early February 2023. I expressed to Chris how disappointed I was in how the situation was being handled, as all I (now) required was for them to simply refund us, and collect their couches. As I saw that even if they took the couches to repair that they would return in an unpleasant condition, and wanted nothing to ever do with the company. All I was doing was trying to support a privately owned small business. The couches were only then collected on the 27th of February 2023, from our place, and only returned back on the 19th of March 2023. When the couches returned, I honestly was not happy with the couches and was just drained from having to deal with this company. After my trip back (18 May 2023), from Durban for my father's funeral, I decided to send Chis a message asking if their company can buy their couch back, as I have concerns about the squeaking and discomfort of the couch. I further let him know that I do not see this couch living to see July/August. All he did was blue-tick me and is now ignoring our calls.

Sandy is a crook of a women. Don't think about doing any kind of business with her. You won't get your goods and she will never refund you. I ordered a couch from her online store and got excuse after excuse on why she couldn't deliver. I had paid a deposit which was never fully refunded. She now won't take my calls or return my messages. DO NOT GIVE HER YOUR MONEY. SHE IS A CROOK OF A WOMAN AND RUDE AS HELL!!!

Sandy is a crook of a women. Don't think about doing any kind of business with her. You won't get your goods and she will never refund you. I ordered a couch from her online store and got excuse after excuse on why she couldn't deliver. I had paid a deposit which was never fully refunded. She now won't take my calls or return my messages. DO NOT GIVE HER YOUR MONEY. SHE IS A CROOK OF A WOMAN AND RUDE AS HELL!!!

The person that owns the lifestyleonlifefuniture.com Sandy is a crock. I placed an order on the 11/05/2020 for couches and when I went to collect yesterday on the 12/07/2020 after 2 months they where in a (1) wrong colour. When I told her I don't want the couches she said (2) I needed to pay a 25% cancellation fee. All of these terms where only communicated to me while I was collecting my couches. Nowhere on the slip does it say that there is a cancellation fee and when I asked her about the colour she said that was the only colour she could find. When I asked why was this not communicated to me... she said she is communicating with me now while I was on the phone with her. She is refusing to give me my full refund as she decided on the colour of the couches without even consulting me. It is not my fault that she didn't get the colour I wanted and on top of that the design was completely different. I bought a Sofa set from them. Spoke to a lady called Sandy, We arranged for delivery and everything was sorted out. The day before delivery I contacted her, She said due to load shedding the delivery wont be possible, a few hours later it was due to the weather, even though it was the rained had stopped. I called her to find out what was happening, she then came with a different story, said that they prioritize customers who pay upfront. only to find out 5 minutes later after explaining my frustration to her that the sofa set wasn't ready. However she offered me a R200 discount. Sofa were to delivered on Tuesday. she then tells me the sofa is half ready, the cushion sand ottoman isn't ready and they will be delivering just the sofa. We called and spoke to her and she then further mentioned that she wouldn't charge a delivery fee. I waited for delivery, Sofas were delivered at 9:30pm at night which is unacceptable. The cushions and ottoman were to be delivered the week after. When I now Queried about the payment for the Cushions as there was a R200 discount allocated to us she then comes with the story that the R200 went for the delivery fee. Absolutely unprofessional with service and never delivers on time. Instead of getting to the point that the Sofa is not ready you will hear 5 different stories. Only to get a sofa of low quality, the stiches are tearing, I would never recommend them to anyone.

We have previously ordered a great couch from this company. And received great service. So they were our first choice when ordering a new couch again. This time was a nightmare. Sandi is Apparently the Boss but they won’t tell you who the owner is ...very dodgy. I ordered a couch in a specific colour. She accepted measurements and colour for our order and said it will be ready in a few days to a week. We paid deposit and waited. On the day delivery was scheduled They apparently didn’t have the colour we wanted. We eventually settled a couple of days later on another colour. Then the couch arrived in a totally different design and incorrect size. They did not accept responsibility for it. Instead I got screamed at from Sandi that I was just a nasty person who liked conflict. She accused me of being racist saying that I probably prefer being served by white people. She’s never met me and treated me terribly. After mush deliberation with her and factory manager Blessing. They collected the couch and made it according to what we initially ordered. Sandi then sent me a message saying we decided them to get a bigger couch! This was after they messed up our measurements and don’t follow our order correctly. She insulted us even further sayin we get along in life through deceiving people. This was all because they made mistakes that they wouldn’t admit to and needed someone to blame. Before delivery I asked Sandi if they could scotch gaurd it and she advised it would be cheaper to do ourselves and told me where it but it from. When it arrived it had dirty marks all over. We bought scotch gaurd and did is according to the instructions. Shockingly the blue or purple colour from the cotton they had used on a light cream couch stained the entire couch. I then sent her pictures. Asking them to collect and refund. She has ignored my messages and calls. Please do not do business with these people. They are dishonest and a nightmare to deal with. I have never been so insulted by someone. We are considering taking them up for deformation and civil claim for the cost of replacing this stained couch now.
