I have purchased the 337g Lindt assorted Silver edition through Sixty Sixty. The sealing stickers were in tact. The box felt light so I have weighed it. It weighed 290g with the box. I have sent them an e-mail and they have told me to return it to the store from where it was purchased. In the end I have opened it and there were only 20 chocolates in the box. Also no choc and white that was supposed to be in the box. As it was an online purchase I cannot return it to the store. No voucher, no nothing. My loss!!!!

Unsatisfactory product received on 5 July 2025, with expiry date 31 July 2025 for a present for my birthday and no reaction received after I've send my first complaint on 7 July 2025 and now they send me from one apartment to another.

I read other reviews about this company. I was horrified. This company thinks we are clowns. They are selling expired stuff at full retail value. Today is the last day of June. It is a month already and still the problem is not resolved.

Hi. Purchased a purchased this slab from. The Lindt Shop in Gateway. To our horror when we opened it had little weavels. Little bugs eating the hazelnuts. This is the first time ever we have experienced this. Product description: Lindt Milk Hazelnut 300grams Best before date: 20 - 10- 2025 L-Code: L1574 Place of purchase: Lindt Shop @ Gateway - Durban Barcode: 7 610400 013864 I have sent them a detailed email on the 1st of June 2025. Today is the 26th of June 2025 still no joy from them. I have made numerous calls to their office in Cape Town. They take down my details and never ever call. They sent me a very funny voucher to purchase more Lindt products. I appericated that but I don't have transport to get to the shops. And knowing the staff at Checkers Hyper will probably not understand the vouchers and end up giving me the run around. Please help. All I want is my new bug free chocolate returned. They fetched the offending chocolate.

My daughter, her husband, mother in-law and aunt got food poisoning from the ice cream purchased from the Lindt Store at Cresta mall. All they could say was sorry for your experience hope you are all well. Oh here's a voucher for your pain and suffering. As if we want that voucher just to get sick again from their chocolate. They were rushed to casualty, my ended up a few days in hospital. Now they are sitting with hospital bills my daughter still suffering from the pain from the pancreatitis because of Lindt's negligence. They just blow it off with a meaningless voucher for contaminated chocolate. People be careful of the lead in their chocolate. Lindt you will get what's coming to you.

South African should be aware of this ****ming Shop, the first time I bought the Lindt cake only to get home and find no English directions on the box, clearly they selling imported products not destined for South Africa, I could do nothing with the product as I opened the box and then looked for the instruction which was in a foreign language , Today I went to by the 2.5kg Chocolate because I'm hosting a function and want to make the topping with Great Chocolate, I paid R 1300 for 2.5kg bag of chocolate, and when I got home , Lindt & Sprungli ****med me again , the package shows Normal chocolate but they made the packing look like that but inside is White Chocolate and I paid R1300 for chocolate that is expired in 1 months time , They are ****ming the South African public Totally , why would I pay so much for expired chocolate, if they said it's on Sale and I made the choice to buy it then I can't complain, it taste dead, this time I am not going to keep quiet, I list the first time buy buying the cake and not being able to use it , I refuse to take another loss from Lindt Sprungli inferior qauntity products.

I had an absolutely horrific experience with Lindt Nuxor chocolates! I purchased the box from Pick ‘n Pay at Liberty Midlands Mall last week for my mum for Mother’s Day. My mum was kind enough to share the chocolates and the one that I opened looked a bit strange. It was sort of crumbly and had some webs on it. Upon closer examination I saw that there was a worm surrounding one of the nuts in the chocolate. I opened 3 more of them to find that they too were crumbly and had webs of some sort which is most likely from worms or some other insect. Absolutely disgusting!!!

I recently purchased a premium range Lindt Nuxor product, to share with guests imagine my horror once the box was opened and the chocolate was infested with what looks to be worm larvae and webs of some kind. The product is well within the expiry date range. I have emailed the company requesting someone to come out and inspect the product, I instead received what looks to be a computer generated response that feedback would be given within 24-48 hours. That was four days ago. How can such a prestigious company sell infested product's, Is it because there is no supervision from the government?
