Our Mom passed on Saturday, 8 October 2022, few days later we submitted the claim through Emerald and we were told its being handled by Lion of Africa the insurer. We have been sent back and forth and the claim hasn't been paid, we were told that there's an indemnity form that my Dad had to sign but when it was sent we were advised that it was incorrect even though it was coming from them. Our Dad is bedridden and they can't expect him to keep going to the police station and having to confirm my Moms death over the phone as the wound is fresh, this is causing his health to deteriorate. I have never seen an incompetent insurers in my life, we buried my Mom without the pay out. I don't know how much pain should we bear 💔
