My father-in-law had a policy with lion of Africa and we had been paying the policy since 2018 now he passed away on 25/03/2025 still today we have not received the money please help us to get the money

This insurance company is been taking money from my persal for years now and I have never taken insurance from them. I was made aware by my HR manager when she asked me if I took life insurance from lion of Africa on which I said no, I’ve never even heard of the name before. She explained that the reason she’s asking is cause a lot of people in our department complained that this insurance company is taking money from them and they never took life insurance from the company and also don’t know how to stop them from taking money from their perusal. I need them to stop and pay me back all the money they’ve been taking all this time because what they are doing is insurance *****.

This insurance company is been taking money from my persal for years now and I have never taken insurance from them. Terrible company They make you wait for your payout till after the funeral,I had a policy with them for 8 years,they only paid my premiums back to me and not the insured amount,the payout happened 2 months after the funeral, I am not the only one that suffered such injustice, a few of my family members and 2 friends had the same complaints. They claim that they do not have an underwriter, apparently they underwriters themselves. Guys if you can't run a business.,please step back.

This company managed to get thru to my information and debit money for policies I didnt apply for ,wuth beneficiaries I dont even know ,I had very difficult time to stop this debit as it was going thru persal and I didnt have any of their contact details .I managed to stop it after 5 yrs with the use of affidavit .Now I manage to get their contact details as I need my money back bt they keep asking for things and not returning my money

My Uncle unfortunately passed away on the 7th of April during the Easters, My Granny had a policy with Emerald life which we have been advised has been brought over by The Lion of Africa but because she is elderly my mom is been helping with the claim. I'm very disappointed in the way this company has chosen to held this case, there have been giving my mom the run around for weeks now advising that there are missing documents but not advising which documents are missing. After that they advised that the documents weren't clear which my mom has reprinted the documents and sent them again. however we still do have not received a response. After being on the phone with them numerous times and visiting they site a whole month and weeks later we have no progress with this claim.

Our Mom passed on Saturday, 8 October 2022, few days later we submitted the claim through Emerald and we were told its being handled by Lion of Africa the insurer. We have been sent back and forth and the claim hasn't been paid, we were told that there's an indemnity form that my Dad had to sign but when it was sent we were advised that it was incorrect even though it was coming from them. Our Dad is bedridden and they can't expect him to keep going to the police station and having to confirm my Moms death over the phone as the wound is fresh, this is causing his health to deteriorate. I have never seen an incompetent insurers in my life, we buried my Mom without the pay out. I don't know how much pain should we bear 💔

I had a policy with this company since 2014 for my mother and I was the beneficiary. My mother passed away 3wks ago I've submitted the claim two weeks ago and I've been calling them every day but they keep on dropping my calls.

Disgusting to say the least. My mom passed aways she was the main member with them. I called they told me she had 20K funeral cover with them? We submitted the documents they told us they are under review until she was buried. After the funeral they told us she does not have a policy with them, and this disgusting inhumane policy went and still deducted the monthly premiums from her salary after her funeral. This company should be disbanded and reported the way they conduct their business is cruel and inhumane
