Someone contacted me from sales regarding getting a phone on contact. This guy sold me a useless and slow phone that is recommended for kids. As an elderly person who knows nothing about phones, he ******* me upon realising i called to cancel the deal before the phone was even shipped to me. The same person advised that i should receive the phone and i can return it to the store. I did exactly that and when i got to the store they told me that he should not have done that and the contract should have been cancelled before shipping.. The store took the phone and advised they are investigating 2 months later they are still investigating.. The MTN stores are advising that the call centres are outsourced and therefore cannot help me apart from call and the people from the phone are not helping. I have emailed trademark number of times as advised with no response. My number has since been closed as i refuse to pay for a phone that i do not use which they have confirmed is in their position. No one is willing to help and this is so frustrating.. i want someone to listen to the call recording and get back to me on how we can fix this.
I’m very disappointed with the service i have received from telkom in the past 2 months. I was going to get retrenched at work early this year and i had a cellphone contract and 2 data plans, the hassle it was to just get how much it would cost to pay off my phone. Almost everyone was telling me different figures, i ended up getting help and i was told to wait for my invoice in June to get the balance and pay. Mid June my services were suspended due to excessive credit limit which was shocking, i went to the store they advise i should pay and everything will go back to normal. I paid the 18k and i was promised services will come back and at that time i got a new job and im working from home. Beginning of July my service's were suspended again, i called them and did get help. Went to to store got assisted but that was a whole week later. A couple of days later my seevices were interrupted again, i called and got no assistance they advised they cannot see where the issue is as my account is up to date. End of July i still have no services that time im calling every day and im being advised this is being escalated. I ended up closing the account beginning of August as no one knows where the issue is and im buying data everyday for work and paying my contract. I paid end of July and i told the last person i spoke to someone who advised the funds would be prorated since i had no service the whole of July. Now telkom is chasing me for the funds when i had no service, i have called numerous times and no one is assisting me. I have not disputed the whole amount but definitely not the full balance as both my accounts were not working.
I got charged for car insurance by Motor happy directly from my bank account, I then contacted my bank who advised who took the amount and advised I should contact them to request for refund and cancel. I have called and called and all my calls are being disconnected, I have emailed them and none of my emails have been responded to. I didn't sign any thing with them nor did they get authority to take my money. I have my own car insurance that I'm quiet happy with, this *****ulent action is disgusting and I want my money
Telkom has been inconveniencing me and switching off my services while all payments are up to date, This is the second time this had happened with no solid reasoning. I just lost my job today because my services were turned off yesterday and I work from home. After calling them numerous times asking for help on one has helped me. no one has been able to give me a solid answer why my services were switched off. Annoyed would be an understatement at this point I am disgusted. come month end they will take the full amount and not even consider the fact that my services have been interrupted for more the 48 hours twice. I would never recommend Telkom to anyone.
My Uncle unfortunately passed away on the 7th of April during the Easters, My Granny had a policy with Emerald life which we have been advised has been brought over by The Lion of Africa but because she is elderly my mom is been helping with the claim. I'm very disappointed in the way this company has chosen to held this case, there have been giving my mom the run around for weeks now advising that there are missing documents but not advising which documents are missing. After that they advised that the documents weren't clear which my mom has reprinted the documents and sent them again. however we still do have not received a response. After being on the phone with them numerous times and visiting they site a whole month and weeks later we have no progress with this claim.
I still haven’t received a response to my query, i was promised that i will receive feedback last week Thursday. It is the end of Monday and no one has communicated anything to me or advising if they require more time for the investigation. Again very disappointed, my Fathers unveiling ceremony is approaching and we have no funds. We were told to open a state account which I'm not considering closing.
My late father had a funeral cover with sanlam, we have been trying to put a claim for the amount due however sanlam has been giving us the run around for almost a year now. We have submitted all the required documents and more proving that we do not know the beneficiary listed on his cover however we have not received any response. We have escalated this issue numerous times with no way forward, all documentation were provided proving that my father only had 2 daughters and his mom and no other extended family. My father has only resided in one property which is my grandmothers house for all his life and if he had an extended family we would have known. We were asked to provide documents from master court which we have advising that all of his assets are to be handled by my grandmother which is his mother. I’m very much disappointed in the way this matter has been handled and even after all the information required has been submitted we still do not have a way forward.
