We have Seen a lot adverti*****t for Liqui Molly oils, as performance oils etc. Finally I did use Liqui Molly 5w40 engine oil drove for 2000 kilometers and changed it to the one I was already using. Now recently, I, did complete DSG and Engine oil service. Using Liqui Molly 8100 multi tronic dsg oil and 10w40 liqui Molly semi synthetic oil (10w40 is only semi synthetic) with complete service original spec Bosch filters in 2L TDI, 6 speed DSG car. My opinion 1. If I use original oils , my fuel consumption get to 5.5 L for hundred Kilometers for least 5000 or more kilometers . With Liqui Molly its 6.6 and 6.8 L/100 KM from the beginning. 2. With original oil Gear shift is not noticeable at all and very smooth , unless service is due. With Liqui Molly I can feel the gear shift at times. Engine oil: Same as before , I feel like taking it out , because I’m not getting the performance, I expect after the service. So what are these claims on YouTube and in some shops. Just want to share my experience. Thank you

Ordered synthetic oil from website with correct approvals and specifications Top Tech 6600 0w20. Delivered oil is 4 years old without correct approvals and specifications. Was told by Tambani, it's the same oil only the sticker is different. Obviously he is clueless as the new spec oil meets latest manufacturer approvals with new additives. Always trusted Liqui Moly but will now move to a different brand.

I have used liquid moly 10w60 oil in my Pajero 3.2 for a few years then thought I should just ask LM what oil do they recommend. A Thembani Mashaba recommended their mineral oil after flushing the engine with their engine flush. I did as recommended. After the very first start up - plenty smoke and a clapping noise in the engine. Contacted Mashaba which then said add a tin or two LM additive I 'have now ********** the band aid'. When I confronted him he just, as expected, pulls up his shoulders and said if the oil was the problem LM would have had 2000 engine fails a month. I have had the same issue with a petrol V6 Land Cruiser with the same 'it's not our problem' attitude. But they state 'Our liability is only active when the oil guide is followed...' I did follow what he recommended and now? Typical large corporate attitude - they want you to buy and use their product but will NEVER take responsibility for failures. I have my doubts about this Mashaba 'engineer's qualifications and if he even knows what he is talking about or is he blindingly following an oil guide and now hides behind that when the **** hits the fan? I have changed to another brand now, and will for ever tell people of his attitude and discourage them from buying Liquid Moly. I will, however, submit a claim thru my lawyers after oil tests etc.
