Hilux brake disaster
Took my Hilux for rear brake adjustment. Graaff skimmed the drums and relined the shoes. Waited two hours. Paid them R1910.00. On my way home used the handbrake on an incline, brakes won't hold the vehicle. Took it back the next day. After SIX hours drove home, at my arrival noticed, and smelled, the left rear wheel smoking. I WILL NEVER USE GRAAFF BRAKES, GEORGE AGAIN AND WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYBODY.

Montego - worm food.
I buy a bag Montego Karoo per month for my JR's. The last portion of the previous bag was old and full of worms. I always empty the bag into a sealed plastic container. The container is always washed and dried first before the fresh pellets are placed in it. I complained to Montego with pictures. 'Colleen' reacted and asked for more info. A 'bribe' in the form of a 'troetel sakkie' - whatever that is, was offered. I provided the offer and declined the 'bribe' I never heard from Montego again. I have to go thru the whole schlepp of changing dog food again. NEVER BUY MONTEGO, THEY DONT CARE ABOUT THE WELFARE OF YOUR DOG!!🤬🤬🤬

Small amount, big issue
WBC bought a car from my wife last year. They got a speeding fine next day when moving the car to another branch. After contacting and corresponding with Marques Bosch it was agreed that I will pay the fine and WBC will refund me. After numerous emails and one eventually to Faan the CEO still nothing. This is só disappointing after our last interaction. Watch out with your dealings with WBC. Even with their top management e.g Faan v d Walt, Marques Bosch etc.

Paid for a no stock item without knowing.
Ordered, and paid for, a range bag only to be told of a no stock issue days later. Be sure, but rather stay away, to check before placing an order with this company for they do not have that option (to check stock) on their order page - or its not updated regularly.

Stay away
Cabous at Spares. Rather take your business elsewhere. Toyota George your best bet. This guy is far from the top of his game. In fact he's not even started. I have been waiting WEEKS for important documents necessary for a claim. Also he orders wrong and uncalled for parts. Their Sales and Workshop I have no idea. Just dealt with this guy at their Spares dept.

Unparalleled service and understanding
After complaining to the branch manager and getting the runaround, I sent an email to the owner and MARQUES BOSCH contacted me and was immediately understanding and helpful. He offered to get the vehicle fixed alternatively a refund without me even suggesting or asking for it. We Buy Cars collected the car within hours. I sent Marques a list of my expenses up to date on the bakkie to try getting it trustworthy for the trip to Botswana but after letting me down a total of six times, I no longer trust the car and asked for a refund - which was agreed to immediately and without any ifs or buts or conditions. This really restored my view of We Buy Cars and elevated them to a level where I will no doubt recommend and do business with them again. I am also retracting my previous negative reviews about this matter and will erase it if possible. Contacting and speaking to the correct persons in the first place can eliminate so much frustration and heartache. THANKS AGAIN MARQUES BOSCH.

Ducking and diving
Five (5) weeks to get WBC to pay for a spare key they lost. I eventually got one made by a one man business in Mossel Bay at R2650.00 instead of the R5.3k quoted by Ford. I paid cash for the key. Eugene Louw's (salesman WBC) excuse now is the receipt Vic ***ner of KEYCAR AUTO) issued is not acceptable. Playing for time and refusing to accept responsibility for their negligence. Never do business with Eugene, he is not a man of his word and once the money is collected, you you are just a number and nuisance. I WILL NOT let this slide. I will now start charging interest.

Too much professionalism.
NEVER, EVER support these guys unless you absolutely have to. They take professionalism to ridiculous lengths. For a simple puncture repair they need to inspect the car, check the thread depths of ALL the tyres, the milage etc... I went next door and got a plug repair no problem. Use TWT as an absolute last desperate choice.

Broken promises, misleading ads
Bought an advertised car from WBC. Ad says 'spare key? -yes'. After paying in full ask for spare key. No spare key, Eugene Louw promise to find it or alternatively get one made. Did not hear from him for weeks. I got quote from Ford and sent it to him. He promised to get back to me with an answer. Its now five weeks and now Eugene Louw is not even taking my call. I will NEVER recommend any one from buying from We Buy Cars ever. They dont sell what they advertise and they dont keep their promises.
