Tiger Wheel & Tyre Richards Bay sold me defective Goodyear tyres after I was told no other brands were available nationwide. I had specifically requested Michelin or Continental, but the salesperson insisted that only Goodyear was available. Immediately after installation the vehicle had severe vibrations. I returned to the branch multiple times but the issue was not properly investigated. I then travelled to Gauteng and had to visit multiple tyre specialists trying to diagnose the problem, spending over R3,000 out of my own pocket. After driving more than 2,000 km with dangerous vibrations, the Richards Bay branch finally confirmed that the tyres they supp**** were defective. It has now been two weeks and there is still no resolution, and I am the one constantly following up. I have since confirmed with another Tiger Wheel branch that Continental tyres are in fact available on order, which contradicts what I was told. I want the defective tyres replaced with Continental tyres at no additional cost and I expect to be refunded for the additional money I spent diagnosing a problem caused by the defective tyres supp**** to me.

Dear Tiger Wheel & Tyre Management, I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the service I received at your Nelson Mandela Street branch in Bloemfontein on 25 February 2026. I brought my car in due to a squeaking sound from the front wheels. I was advised that both brake pads and brake discs needed replacement, which I agreed to. However, only two hours after leaving your premises, the car produced an even worse sound than before. I returned the following day, and was told lubrication had been app**** to the discs and that the brake pads needed time to wear in. While the noise temporarily subsided, it returned the very next day. This ongoing issue has left me extremely dissatisfied and embarrassed, as the sound occurs every time I apply the brakes. The service I received has been appalling and has not resolved the problem I initially came in for. Upon entering the store to have a tyre replaced, I was met with complete indifference. There were three sales staff members at the front who all made eye contact with me, yet they immediately looked down and continued to ignore my presence. I waited for 10 minutes, expecting at least an acknowledgment or a brief "we will be with you shortly," but no one spoke to me or offered assistance. As a result of this blatant lack of basic customer etiquette, I left the store without being helped. Being treated as if I am invisible is not the level of service I expect from Tiger Wheel & Tyre. I hope you will address this with your front-desk team to ensure other customers are not treated with the same disregard. I look forward to hearing how you intend to improve the service standards at this location.

Celimpilo Mtshali from TWT Emalahleni, thank you for your outstanding service. I had two TPS sensors replaced, it was done immediately and didn't cost me a cent. Celimpilo made sure the sensors were working correctly and he reset the error code on the Dash. They also checked my vehicle front to back, including the Battery. You have a customer for life. Thank you

Terrible experience I got from Tiger wheel & tyre Richards Bay, I went for brakes replacement they then took the car for a test drive in the process damaged the clutch and now telling me that brake pads have nothing to do with the clutch, I should sort it out myself.
