**Subject: Complaint Regarding Cashews in Food and Resulting in severe Allergic Reaction**

Dear Restaurant owners and Managers

I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the service we received at Little India conference room on Musgrave Road on the 20th of July, 2024 during a lunch celebration for my mum’s 80th birthday party.

We had explicitly communicated, both via WhatsApp and verbally, that no cashews were to be used in any of the dishes due to a severe allergy that my mum experiences. The son of the owner who was assisting us acknowledged this request multiple times. However, when the food was served, it contained ground cashews. As a result, my mum, the guest of honor, had an allergic reaction.

Fortunately, one of our guests was a doctor who was able to assist with medication, and my mother felt a lot better after about thirty minutes. However, this incident caused significant distress and pain for her. The photos taken at the event clearly show her discomfort, which marred what was meant to be a joyful celebration. Additionally, our immediate family experienced immense stress regarding the situation and could not partake in meals, which were already paid for in full.

It has now been over one and a half weeks since the incident, and we have not received any response, even though we've asked the manager of that afternoon to report to the owner/s. Given the serious nature of this oversight, we request a formal apology and would like to know how you plan to resolve this matter to make us feel more at ease using the restaurant in the future. Our guests did enjoy the meals provided
