**Subject: Complaint Regarding Cashews in Food and Resulting in severe Allergic Reaction** Dear Restaurant owners and Managers I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the service we received at Little India conference room on Musgrave Road on the 20th of July, 2024 during a lunch celebration for my mum’s 80th birthday party. We had explicitly communicated, both via WhatsApp and verbally, that no cashews were to be used in any of the dishes due to a severe allergy that my mum experiences. The son of the owner who was assisting us acknowledged this request multiple times. However, when the food was served, it contained ground cashews. As a result, my mum, the guest of honor, had an allergic reaction. Fortunately, one of our guests was a doctor who was able to assist with medication, and my mother felt a lot better after about thirty minutes. However, this incident caused significant distress and pain for her. The photos taken at the event clearly show her discomfort, which marred what was meant to be a joyful celebration. Additionally, our immediate family experienced immense stress regarding the situation and could not partake in meals, which were already paid for in full. It has now been over one and a half weeks since the incident, and we have not received any response, even though we've asked the manager of that afternoon to report to the owner/s. Given the serious nature of this oversight, we request a formal apology and would like to know how you plan to resolve this matter to make us feel more at ease using the restaurant in the future. Our guests did enjoy the meals provided I look forward to your prompt response and resolution of this matter. Regards Charmaine

LITTLE INDIA MUSGRAVE DISGUSTING, STALE AND PATHETIC FOOD!
Please stay away from this restaurant! They delivered stale food to our house today which might I add was not cheap. It was absolutely horrible and disgusting. One bite and it was the end. We will never buy from this restaurant again. Disgusting and pathetic.

Please stay away from this restaurant! They delivered stale food to our house today which might I add was not cheap. It was absolutely horrible and disgusting. One bite and it was the end. We will never buy from this restaurant again. Disgusting and pathetic.

Little India
This Indian restaurant prepares dishes which are traditionally and authenthically indian. Really cheap prices. Enjoyed the appetisers, snacks, drinks and dessert items. Sampled a little of everything. Will have to visit again to try other items on the menu. They also have a Take-Away option which is great for those on the go and during lunchtime. Good service provided here too.

This Indian restaurant prepares dishes which are traditionally and authenthically indian. Really cheap prices. Enjoyed the appetisers, snacks, drinks and dessert items. Most pathetic Indian restaurant in Durban
This is the most pathetic Indian restaurant I've been to date. Useless staff, no parking, prices are more expensive than other better places and the mango desert which was recommended to us looked like vomit.. tasted horrible... Will never go back there and strongly recommend people try Jaipur palace instead. Wasted my time and money.. Wish I had never went to this dump.

Perfect Service Little India Restaurant on Musgrave
I would reccomend this restaurant to anyone who loves or want to try out Indian cuisine. Their food is divine and the ambiance is just right. The place is world class standard. We were served by a gentleman called Jaya who was pleasant,professional and humble. I would go back there anyday. Keep up the good work guys.

I would reccomend this restaurant to anyone who loves or want to try out Indian cuisine. Their food is divine and the ambiance is just right. The place is world class standard. Went to Little India because ,my cousins came from India and wanted to give them a taste of their own food as they were homesick for good food. It was really a delight because of the ambiance and service. The food was also cooked by authentic cooks so they tasted very good and to the liking of my visitors. Great place to dine at.

Went to Little India because ,my cousins came from India and wanted to give them a taste of their own food as they were homesick for good food. It was really a delight because of the ambiance and service. The food was also cooked by authentic cooks so they tasted very good and to the liking of my visitors. Great place to dine at.

Went to Little India in Musgrave because I had visitors from India and wanted to give them a taste of their own food as they were homesick for good food. It was really a delight because of the ambiance and service. The food was also cooked by authentic cooks so they tasted very good and to the liking of my visitors. Great place to dine at.
