Good Gift Shop
Its a store you can find lots of neat items especially for parties or toys. There is also a wide selection of cards and gift bags to choose from. Lots of the items are plastic made. Balloons are their best. They have cheaper helium than other stores. The store is not usually too busy. But you will wait in a queue at the checkout counter. The prices are fair. The quality of the products are as anything made in china. The location is good and staff does well. There could be a sanitiser station that doesn't force you to touch something everyone touches. I have been shopping at Cardies for years and have always managed to get all of my shopping at one store instead of going around to different stores to get what I need for gifts or parties.

Total Sports
Great service in store at Total Sports, which is consistent. Very fast and friendly got what I needed and didn’t feel hassled/rushed but got what I was looking for quickly. This store also has a very large range of well known brands, that is a lot more than I’ve seen at other and at other stores nearby. Great experience. Always a wide range of sports apparel to choose from for ladies men and children. They are also well stocked. Prices are a bit higher than other competitors on the market, however they are worth a visit, especially if you are looking for brand names and fashionable products. Also look ou for any sales or promotions that they may have in store to get discounts on well known brands and other miscellaneous items.

Linen Fragrance
Love the Elizabeth Arden linen fragrance. This is a very linear linen scent, there are not many other discernable notes. It is very reminiscent of a lot of citrus body splashes/spritzes (think the old Body Shop citrus body mist), strongly citrus but this is a proper perfume with decent projection and fair longevity. It is a great choice if you are looking for a plainly vanilla perfume. I like it alot. The scent is not overbearing but still present. Smells different than the body spray but that's understandable. The size is also a perfect way to test before bying the bigger one but it will still last you a while. The packaging is also very neat and attractive. This would make a really nice gift as it is well priced, light and not too strong. It is a scent that everyone will enjoy.

World Class Aquarium Experience
Always a winner, the Aquarium allows for easy access and walking space, without feeling cramped even on busy days. There are no live shows as in Durban, but the displays are world class, clean and well presented with clear information on all displays. Right at the entrance to the V&A Waterfront, close access to restaurants and shops means you could easily spend a whole morning or afternoon there. The aquarium is very clearly designed and interestingly structured, many, partly large display tanks and glass tunnels which are very appealing and house many sea creatures. Also, after 3pm, there is a reduced admission price. It is advisable to plan to spend at least 2 hours, certainly longer with children in order to explore the entire aquarium and make the most out of the experience.

Good Park
The whole family used to enjoy visiting the Walter Sisulu National Gardens. It is definitely a great place to relax, read a book or let the kids run freely. There is ample free parking, although not very wheel chair accessible, it's a bit hilly, only one play area with wooden swings which is close to the parking lot and is not fenced off. The problems begin with too many monkeys which may spoil a picnic if they can. Also, many areas of the park have been neglected which is sad and disappointing. The ponds have dirt in them, hedges and bushes are overgrown or ripped out and left aside and litter is accumulated at certain spots around the park which is not picked up. Overall there is poor maintainance of the park. Apart from these drawbacks, you can still find a peaceful spot on the park with the perfect blend of shade and sunshine . Hopefully they will improve the maintenance levels of the park.

Auto Zone
I visited Auto Zone for the first time last month to browse for car spares and must say all the employees are really friendly and willing to assist customers from the time you enter the shop. They know how to treat the customers and the advice they offer is valuable. The team went the extra mile in advising me on the best possible way to do the work on my car in order to maintain its value. The shop itself is well organized and all spare parts are reasonably priced. If they don't have the items you are looking for, they will simply phone and source it from another supplier, which is convenient. I purchased a set of front lights for my car, which had stopped working and they fitted it for me at no extra cost. I will be visiting again, if I require any spare parts for my vehicle.

Borehole Equipment
Great, good quality system at unbeatable price. Just got it installed for my whole house and seems to work excellent. I added an additional filter before the system, specifically to minimize lime from my borehole when I need to use it during water interruptions from our Municipality. No loss of pressure. Water is much cleaner and taste great. I can definitely recommend this product. Easy to install. Filters are also included in the package, which is a bonus. Doesn't affect your water pressure at all. Great value for money. Will buy it again. With this system I always get clean water & save the taps from any buildup iodine. Finally, I can drink tap water with some peace of mind.

Great Service
The Volvo dealership in Umhlanga is one of the best in terms of customer service and experience. Sales staff friendly and understanding of customers needs. The manager was patient and informed. There is a large selection of new and used vehicles on the premises. I visited the dealership to test drive the new Volvo XC90 and it was an amazing experience. Definitely a customer focused experience from start to finish. Sales and finance personnel provide excellent service. They were able to answer all of my questions regarding the vehicle and financing options. They also provided me with some literature of the vehicle I was interested in. I liked the service centre on site as well, which I saw when I visited the dealership at Umhlanga. Very well kitted out and once again the staff in the service department were professional and friendly. Will be visiting again in future.

Dont stress on the internet, walk in for friendly advice and let the dealer do what he does best, work out a plan on the vehicle that is suitable for you. This dealership also has great seasonal specials on both new and used vehicles. There is safe and secure parking on site as well. The facilities are clean and dealership is well layed out for customers.
