Lock Elite - ****s Locksmith
My tenant was stranded. They took advantage of her. She wanted locks changed because she could not open the door. They did not give her a quote of how much it will costs to change the locks. She tried several times to enquire about the cost only to be told after the job was done that the cost was R7000. She did not have all the money they wanted. They threaten her and took her laptop. They are really ****s. A case of ****** property has been opened in Fourways.

The worst locksmith you will encounter
Unfortunately missed these reviews prior to calling them, and now I am one of the many who got ****med by this company from hell. Stay away!!! I was broken into and needed an emergency locksmith. I was charged R4414 for to replace a single lock and they installed a flimsy no name brand lock that doesnt work not even day later. Their business model and ethics are horrible.

Cheap quality locks used now we're locked in and getting blue ticked.
I've been locked in since Monday after paying R4000 in an emergency. I can't get a hold of technician and they used inferior goods, lock that was replaced literally broke after less than 1 day. Since then we haven't been able to use the door.

Un happy with this company dont use it
The worst ripoff, this Saturday i called Locksmith and they sent a technician saying they from Lockelite but to open a door they charged me R4300 , i mean really . Yes the job was done but after inquiring else where to replace a handle that is only R300 how did they come up with R4300 and they demand immediate payment…. I feel ****med

Don’t use this company!!!!
I’m not one to leave reviews and bad mouth any complaints but I’m so disgusted with this company. I locked myself out of my house. The service was great the locksmith arrived 15 minutes lates. He broke the lock (don’t understand why it was necessary to drill the lock out) and said he has to replace the lock. I confirmed that it’s fine. Only to my surprise that a R300 lock was charges for R2000. My total amount was R4403 just to open and replace the lock. I don’t mind paying for my service but WHY was I not informed about any prices whatsoever. Or given an estimated amount, at least just a heads up. I honestly feel rob. I asked another locksmith what the normal charge would have been and they confirmed no more than R2000 plus call out fee. I understand companies need to make money but to charge absurde amounts is ridiculous! Please don’t make the mistake I made! Don’t use this company they only want your money and the most they can possibly ask for it.
