I've been locked in since Monday after paying R4000 in an emergency. I can't get a hold of technician and they used inferior goods, lock that was replaced literally broke after less than 1 day. Since then we haven't been able to use the door.
On Saturday I came home to find my gate has been opened, and there was a car parked outside with a man in the car. I realised it's a ******* in progress at my house. I immediately called ADT emergency. I selected option 1 "if it's a life threatening emergency, press 1" I told the agent there are people in my house, please help. 30 minutes later, security had not arrived and I had even gone back to my broken into house, laptop, TV and other things missing. I called ADT again. The agent told me she didn't call anyone, all I said was there were people in my house. I asked if I would call an emergency line to ask for help and that's all she heard. She never assisted and armed response came at 7pm. I'm appalled that the emergency line responded like that, the whole situation could have been handled better.
I bought 2 wraps, paid 170x2 (instead of R170) and I raised it that they've duplicated payment. 2 days later I'm still waiting for feedback. It's January. It's 1 thing not reversing my payment immediately, but notnacknowledging my mails makes me worry that I'll never be refunded.
No matter how many emails and calls - if ADT makes an error on your statement, you need to pay for it. My credit record has been negatively impacted by their poor administration, and I am being blue ticked.
No matter how packed it gets (and it gets packed a lot!), the service is always good and quick. Plus they are one of the few places that I know of that sell Mofaya energy drink, love it when businesses support local brands.
6 months of waiting for them to fix a billing error, instead I get threats for outstanding payments, when I haven't skipped a single payment.
You get what you paid for. They were the cheapest, but I thought it's cos they are the biggest company here, so cost to serve low - I stand corrected. The price is related to the service... Been with them less than 3 months and emails/calls go unanswered.
Worst experience I ever - worst part; when you lodge a complaint, you're sent from pillar to post. They didn't provide the service we'd FULLY paid for, and brought mourners to my grandmother's funeral AFTER the funeral - even though we specified time of service
