I would strongly advise against using Lombard Tyres in Blairgowrie. I had 4 brand new tyres fitted to my vehicle, and during the process, the staff also inspected my spare wheel and fitted the tyre onto a BRAND NEW rim so that all 5 wheels would be ready for use. What should have been a simple and professional job turned into an incredibly frustrating experience. While fitting the tyre onto my spare wheel, they damaged the BRAND NEW rim through careless handling. In addition to that, they also scratched another rim on my vehicle with their tyre spinning machine, leaving visible damage that was clearly caused while the car was in their care. This was not wear and tear - this was damage caused directly by negligence and poor workmanship. When I returned to the branch to raise the issue, the experience became even worse. The branch manager was dismissive, extremely rude, and showed no regard for customer service. There was no accountability, no professionalism, and no attempt to resolve the matter. Instead of taking responsibility for the damage caused, the issue was simply brushed aside. It is unacceptable to pay for a service, have your property damaged through careless workmanship, and then be treated with complete disrespect when trying to resolve the issue. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Lombard Tyres to anyone. Poor workmanship, damaged property, careless handling, and shocking customer service.

I purchased FOUR in-house branded tyres from LOMBARD Tyres, on a Black Friday special 2023. The tires started disintegrating after a couple of months after purchasing the 'in-house' brand, KHUMO Spoke to branch manager at Randburg branch where the installation was done. He 'measured' the wear and tear at the time of complaint and submitted the information to the Sales Manager. The feedback provided from the Sales Manager - Pay R1000 per tyre (for thread used up to that date of complaint) and they will replace all four tyres. I escalated the complaint to the Sales Manager for review. This is unacceptable - the disintegration is not because of my doing, and the Sales manager at Lombard Tyres admitted this, HOWEVER - the feedback from the Chinese manufacturer is - it is not a manufacturer's fault - it is 'normal' wear and tear !!!!! There are literally gaps where pieces of rubber was falling out in chunks. The Sales manager promised to call me back after 'Black Friday' rush 2025 - but DOLOLO . . . . It is 2026 now and NO REPLY.

Subject: Formal Claim – Faulty Battery (Technical Report Attached) This is regarding the faulty battery purchased at Lombard Tyres, Potchefstroom. Please note the following: 1. The person you referred to is my daughter, Susa, not my wife [1]. 2. The faulty battery has already been recycled and is therefore not recoverable [2]. 3. Attached is the technical report from Jaun Erasmus (Le****), which confirms the battery was defective (dead cell, incorrect fitment, and replacement required) [3]. 4. The report further shows the battery was undersized for the vehicle (628 fitted instead of 639), loose in its bracket, and failed testing with a dead cell [4]. 5. In terms of the Consumer Protection Act (South Africa), suppliers remain liable for defective goods at point of sale, regardless of subsequent recycling [5]. 6. The defect contravenes BMP (Battery Manufacturing Practices) and ISO 9001 quality management principles, which require correct specification, fitment, and performance standards [6]. I therefore expect the claim to be honoured and the faulty battery refunded in full. The defect was established and documented before recycling, and liability cannot be avoided. Please arrange for settlement accordingly.
