WARNING - Supplier Committing *****/THEFT - LTC Air Conditioning In December 2023 we commissioned LTC to supply and install an air conditioner in our residential apartment in Cape Town with the understanding that it would be completed by a certain mutually agreed date. We duly paid the 75% deposit (on the same day the invoice was received) just to be informed days later, that the deadline could no longer be met. In response we cancelled the order and requested that our deposit be repaid. Unfortunately, despite dozens of requests, reminders via phone and email, in June 2024 (more than 6 months later) LTC continues to withhold our full deposit. Furthermore, LTC has missed several 'promised' deadlines to refund the deposit continuing to mislead us and withhold our funds. All of this is incredibly frustrating and difficult to stomach as a small local business, it amounts to *****, Theft and ********* business practices. We have handed this matter over for a listing at the credit bureau.

We paid LTC Air Conditioning R7300 for a new AC unit at the start of 2020 and we had not used it for more than 3 months before the start of spring 2020. When we tried to switch it on in September it would not work. Since it is still under warranty, we called LTC Air Conditioning to check what was the matter. They gave us a bill for R950 for changing a fuse and they denied this was covered by the warranty. When I suggested to them that R750 for less than an hour's labour was excessive, they had no reply or apology. We have had to pay the invoice under protest.
