Horrible customer service
After booking an appointment for jetski service I drove to Lutz Marine which is in Vanderbijl Park all the way from Johannesburg - just to be told that they don't do service on Jetskiis, so when I asked manager why did they book my jetski for service the - he just walked away without even giving me any response. But, I was pre-warned not to come near them due to their appalling customer services - and I did not listen - so I only have myself to blame.

Horrible customer service

Brilliant and helpful
My friend suggested I take my boat to Lutz Marine as he had been going there for years. I received such great service, and Barbara is so kind a polite. Really happy and will be taking my boat to them from now on.

Brilliant and helpful
My friend suggested I take my boat to Lutz Marine as he had been going there for years. I received such great service, and Barbara is so kind a polite. Really happy and will be taking my boat to them from now on.

Excellent service and customer care
Such excellent service! So glad I took my boat to Lutz Marine! I needed my boat for the weekend (Saturday) I brought my boat in on Friday morning and they managed to have it done by Saturday afternoon! I would definitely recommend Lutz Marine

Excellent service and customer care
Such excellent service! So glad I took my boat to Lutz Marine! I needed my boat for the weekend (Saturday) I brought my boat in on Friday morning and they managed to have it done by Saturday afternoon! I would definitely recommend Lutz Marine

Shocking Service
What an absolute shocking experience i have had with Lutz Marine, i take my bout there for an assessment and wait months for feedback and when i inquire about it in the new year i get a response on email like this: " My wife nor me have the time in our main season to sit on the phone or the internet for Hrs To find cheaper parts for your boat." This is the absolute worse service i have ever experienced !!! They then send me an invoice for work done that they did not disclose before doing the quote.........before i can collect my boat after all this!!

Shocking Customers Service
<p>I will never use Lutz Marine nor will I recommend them to anyone. </p> <p>I had a issue with my wheel on boat trailer, I contacted Lutz Marine to assist me with a quote so I could claim from my insurance. Lutz went out to my locker to get my wheel (which has already been taken off the trailer by me). After numerous phone calls I had not heard anything back. Eventually I received a quote. I was informed the wheel had been fixed. I then travel to the Vaal to check the work had been done. Much to my surprise it hadnt. I then contated Lutz Marine to find out why. Again after numerous phone calls I get told payment then job. Which firstly I feel is wrong. If you really need money then ask for a deposit. </p> <p>I recieve a half ass quote to submit to my insurance. The quote read as follows. </p> <p>labor R......</p> <p>call out fee R.....</p> <p>Parts (wheel Bearings) </p> <p>Submit it to insurance to be told they need a proper detailed quote . After numerous attempts. I finally receive a detail quote. Insurance assessor heads out to the Vaal so they can wrap up and get the claim paid. Again to my surprise the wheel isn't there. </p> <p>I then contact Lutz Marine to find out where the tire is so the assessor can do his job and we can then proceed. </p> <p>Lutz informs me that I will not get the tire back until call out fee is paid (which I agree) and labor cost is pair (which I don't agree). So no work has been done and I ask him what's the labor charge for. And I told him I will pay labor once job is completed. </p> <p>I get get the follow message back. This is directly copied from his text message to me. </p> <p>Text message</p> <p>For the work we did until now 1.removing of the old bearings from your axle and the hub.<br />2.Cleaning of the above to get the sizes.<br />3. Spending time on the phone to locate them.<br />4.Compiling quotes. <br />5. Redoing quote with bearing spec's. <br />6.Anwering questions on the phone and sms's. <br />I actually have now spend more than 2 hr of my time on this and request a 2 hr. labour charge.<br />This does add up to R 1700.00. <br />Please do a payment for this amount. <br />I will not answer any future sms's and sell of your wheel to recover my cost.<br />Regards Lutz </p> <p>As as you can read above, business etiquette is in short supply. </p> <p>I erge you never to use this company. </p> <p>Regards</p> <p>Andrew </p> <p> </p>
