After booking an appointment for jetski service I drove to Lutz Marine which is in Vanderbijl Park all the way from Johannesburg - just to be told that they don't do service on Jetskiis, so when I asked manager why did they book my jetski for service the - he just walked away without even giving me any response. But, I was pre-warned not to come near them due to their appalling customer services - and I did not listen - so I only have myself to blame.
Three months ago I canceled my subscription with Multichoice, but they are still debiting my account! WARNING to anyone who plans to pay via debit order - don't do it! I have contacted their contact center and they repeatedly told me that they don't have me on their record and that I am no longer a customer - but when I asked them - how come you are still debiting me - they have no answer! If this is not theft and fraud - nothing is!!!! Beware of dealing with them - they are a bunch of crooks.
After going through all the paperwork, passing the adoption inspection, and paying fees for sterilization I got the call from SPCA Midrand to say that my dog is ready to pick up. During the phone call - I asked them clearly - If anything else is needed and will it be quick because I had minimal time due to job requirements and deadlines. They said: "Nothing else, just come and collect your dog." So I got there, waited for 30 min for vet approval, and went for another round of signatures and paperwork, and finally, I got my dog. Doggy still had a fresh wound after being sterilized. And that is where the nightmare started! Turned out my new dog had a car phobia, and two staff and I could not put him in a car for another 15-20 min. Then doggy started bleeding from a sterilization wound - and had to go back to the vet to stop the bleeding. After I told them that I just had to rush back to the work and that I will be back - that same vet that approved the adoption - accused me that my rush was the cause the of dog's bleeding, and basically canceled the adoption right there - on the ground that I am impatient. So, they misled me by saying that it will be quick, and then 1 hour later when I just had to leave for important work's meeting where I wasted other people's time in waiting - the lady vet threw defamatory statements at me and canceled the adoption contract on whimp. So, avoid SPCA Midrand - that's my advice to anyone who wants to adopt a pet!
I am not sure how a company with such poor after-service can even be in business. Dealing with them means simply waiting hours for anyone to respond. Even if you go on their what's-up support - it is pretty much the same - hours waiting. A short while ago after a long wait - finally I go to someone - and the moment I mentioned the word cancellation - the line was dropped. Message for anyone considering them as their ISP - stay away from them, and don't get lured into a trap by their "low prices".
MTN is blatantly refusing to blacklist customers' phones and provide consumers with the ITC number needed for phone insurance. I was told by the MTN branch to send an email to their fraud team (fraud@mtn.com) with specific information required and when I did not hear from anyone for several days - I contacted their hotline 0831237867 which was the beginning of a rollercoaster ride. Option 1 takes you to a third-party company, and there you will be told that the number is incorrect advising to go back to customer support to get the correct number. If you go back - you will be told that is the correct number. And if you ask them for the correct number they will refuse to give it to you. If you choose option 2 you will be directed to extension 173, and on that extension, you will be told that number has been changed to 083 135 which is their customer contact center - so you are back on square 1 where you wasted 30 min and got nowhere. So it is just a trick loop by MTN, where they try to do everything NOT to help you under the banner of the helpline. Loud message to all who are getting new contracts or prepaid deals: - avoid MTN at all cost, or you will regret it!!!! They are the worst operator by far, with an agenda when it comes to phone blacklisting. This was expressed to Parlament on communication bill hearing and it is also expressed in practice when asked by consumers to blacklist phones. And without them giving you an ITC number - you can forget about getting insurance coverage from your insurers.
As a result of my first complaint against STB Home Owner Insurers - they have committed in writing that they will settle my claim - however, a week later agreed amount has not been paid!!! I call them yet again - and yet again empty promise of payment was made and days later nothing has been paid! It is sad to see STBSA crumbling, but when a customer needs to scream on social media as the only way to get them to respond - then you know you are dealing with a sinking ship. Sad to see once reputable financial organization crumbling so ungracefully - but with their current level of service - I can only say: good riddance!
Message to the market - avoid them at all costs! I just had underground broken pipe, that involved leak detection, (R1600), digging, and replacing broken pipe (R4500). So, for a total of R6000 (excluded cost of re-paving) - they promise to pay me R3000 minus my excess which comes to measly R1500. After a dozen phone calls, a few hours on waiting for them to respond, two weeks later - they have still not paid!!! U N B E L E I V A B L E I claimed like 5 times in 10 years - paid over 100 000 of Rands to them on premiums in total - and that is the value you get back for being long-standing, good profile customer.
