Towards the end of June my car had a pop up message 'consult workshop without changing gears' and couldn't start. I towed the car to Maritime and I was told is because rats had damaged the cars wires. That was fixed for 25K and took the car. After 8 days or so driving the car the pop message shows up again and i towed the car to Maritime. I was then told that the car has a gearbox lever problem that will cost R156 000 and it's above what the car is worth. We then at home decided to tow the car back home that costed 19k to Margate City motors and we were told that the problem is the battery which costed 5K. We waisted close to 45K for something that is 5K. Am even sceptical about taking the car to PE because of the emotional damaged caused and the fact that I don't trust Maritime will help me if I can have another problem with the car. To say am disappointed is the least and if a negative review was allowed I would give them that.

I am very upset with the service I received. My engine light was on and last November I took it to Maritime motors to get it fixed. They said my thermostat failed. Then they replaced it. In December I went to DBN so my car was parked off the whole of December. In January my engine light came on again. Then they say it was my water pump. They got it fixed. A week later my light came on again. I took it again to them they say it's the thermostat again. My brother took the car in the next day to tell them that the car is not right but they assured him its normal. After a week the light comes on again. I called Neil who tells me to bring the car in again for diagnostic. Its a very big inconvenience for me to keep going there everyweek. Its costs me to ficx car and also Remember each time my car goes in I must hire a car to use as I run a business. I do not have another car to use. This is really stressing me out. These people keep on telling me to bring the car without any concern as to what vehicle I'm gonna use wen my vehicle is in. My car is booked in for tomorrow. And it's really stressing me out cos it's an ongoing thing. I cannot spend anymore money on hiring a vehicle.

Yesterday my dad’s car broke down and he got his insurance to tow his car to Maritme Motor on William Moffet road, today when attempting to gather what the status quo was, we encountered the worst customer service we’ve both ever experienced. Firstly the dealership was closed but there was no signs or indication that they were closed. Upon calling them they had a receptionist answer the phone from home but she too was unhelpful and she dispatched their on call tech to come out and assist. Instead of assisting the on call tech was combative and argumentative. From the very beginning of our interaction, I told her that I’d be speaking on my dad’s behalf and she should refrain from speaking to him. She refused to listens and was opportunistic when I answered a phone call from her superior to get into my dads face, raising her voice at him to the point I had stop my conversation on the phone and tell her to get away from my dad please only speak to me. She refused and carried on speaking to him at which point I told her to leave and we will not need her services as she was rude, unhelpful, disrespectful and was an awful representative of Maritime motors. After leaving I called her superior who advised her would be picking up clients from the airport and would be arriving at dealership shortly. He arrived and with clients which he OPENED the dealership for, only to find that there was someone inside the dealership the entire time. All in all we were not assisted to our satisfaction and the entire experience left a sour taste son mouth and I would not recommend anyone to deal with Maritime motors. One thing I will say he two individuals who where good to deal with where standee and Grant was very helpful as well, but the technician should not be allowed to deal with any customers what so ever

I have been dealing with Maritime Motors for the past 7 years and I am sad to say that their customer service is horrible!! They never return telephonic messages. One of their mechanics broke the sunroof button and after 4 years it is still broken. They charge me triple for a sensor on the engine and I got it done in Johannesburg for way less at a dealership. I will never take may vehicle to them for a service!!!

I have been dealing with Maritime Motors for the past 7 years and I am sad to say that their customer service is horrible!! They never return telephonic messages. One of their mechanics broke the sunroof button and after 4 years it is still broken. They charge me triple for a sensor on the engine and I got it done in Johannesburg for way less at a dealership. I will never take may vehicle to them for a service!!!

Bough a ford ranger from dishonest Honda Maritime Motors in George and within 2 months the bakkie starting shuddering, the front shock was bumpy and the paint of inside door kept coming off. Took the car back all the way from PE 3 or 4 times, but they kept on refusing to have it fixed. I now have to replace the gearbox of bakkie within 11 months from buying it from them. Please stay away my family member had to sell her Honda vehicle because of their poor service. They are ***** and do not honor a 6 month warranty rather go to Webuycars. Never buy from Honda Maritime George you will not get the 6 month warranty they offer, it's not even worth the paper it's written on

Dit was die ***ste diens wat ek gekry het in die afgelope 50 jaar wat ek voertuie laat diens. Hulle aanvaar geen verantwoordlikheid vir enige werk wat by hul gedoen word nie. Ek het my voertuig verloor weens hulle agterlosigheid.
