Highly unprofessional and unreliable
I hired Issa Shaik from Uzzi Flooring to restore my parquet flooring. Initially, I was sceptical about using his services but evidence of his membership with the Wood, Laminate and Flooring Association instilled confidence in his ability and put my mind at ease. Issa Shaik is the most unprofessional and unreliable person that I have ever dealt with. I have had the worst experience with this company. He assured me that the project would be completed in two days, but it has been two weeks and my floor is in a worse condition than it was prior to commencement. Both the sanding and sealing is incomplete. I provided pictures of how I expected the floors to look upon completion, but, he applied a sealer that is too dark and does not produce the high gloss finish that I requested. The sealer was applied to one area despite not removing all the marks or repairing and replacing the broken blocks as agreed. He destroyed my skirtings and walls, leaving ugly uneven sanding marks on the skirting and messing varnish on my newly painted walls. He messed varnish all over the communal stairs on the flats premises and didn't clean it up. I paid him a substantial deposit initially, but on day two he asked me to assist him with money for petrol to get home and he asked again the following day. Two days later he asked me to give him money to purchase sealer because he was unable to supply the colour requested. Furthermore, he arrived late every day at various times throughout the day: 10h30 , 12h00, 14h30 and even 15h00 on one occasion. The first week he didn't show up for two days in a row and the second week he didn't show up every other day, nor did he update me or provide an explanation. I have never had such a terrible experience with any company that I have dealt with. I have reached a point where I no longer want to deal with Issa Shaik or Uzzi Flooring. Do not be fooled by his discounts, promises and assurances, it is simply not worth the stress that you will consequently endure. Save yourself the headache and pay a little extra for decent service.

Theft
Guys from your company stole my laptop...your work is great but you have employed thieves.....anyone that's going to call Mars Flooring for services please sit with your valuable items because even when you hide them they search and steal.....Two black guys one is light skinned the other is dark skinned and they speak Tswana...be careful of them people. Im gojng to open a case of theft against your company......and ohh IM NEVER USING YOUR COMPANIES SERVICES EVER AGAIN!!!!!!

TERRIBLE WORKMANSHIP AND BAD ATTITUDE
Very unprofessional installers. I don't even know where to start. Firstly they layed my bedroom flooring incorrectly to instruction and per our agreement then proceeded to try and tell me it was my fault. The T pieces and stair nose and the joins where not done properly and came loose after a day or two and most where not flush. They used the incorrect piece in the passage and then lied that this was all you got, only after me asking the manufacturer and finding out that the piece that they used was in fact incorrect did they agree to fix it. They where cutting long lengths of laminate with a Jigsaw (should use a circular saw as the lines would be straight) and making a complete hash of most pieces they cut. They damaged my brand new wooden staircase and did not want to admit to it or pay for the damage, even though my maid witnessed it. When I told the owner of mars flooring I would be deducting the cost to fix it he then told me he was going to break my arms and legs. Not to mention the oil from their bakkie all over my driveway etc.... USE THESE GUYS AT YOUR OWN RISK!

DISGUSTING ATTITUDE & SERVICE FROM COMPANY OWNER
I contacted this company for a quote for laminate flooring. The owner, Oscar, arranged an appointment with me for 5:30pm yesterday. Oscar never showed up, neither did he call to apologise, etc. Today, I received a call from Oscar, saying he's so busy etc and can he rather come over the weekend. I indicated that since he neither pitched for the appointment, nor had the decency to call and reschedule before the appointment, I am no longer interested in his services as if he was this unreliable with coming out to provide a quote then he would possibly be just as unreliable when it comes to performing the work. Oscar got really angry with me and screamed at me, had a terrible attitude, saying that I'm actually losing out and that's fine then and he's not losing out on anything from me. His attitude, especially for a company owner, was disgusting. I am so relieved that I wasn't fooled into doing business with someone who obviously doesn't value their business and doesn't know how to treat potential customers with respect. To me, a person's attitude is a good indication of how their work would be performed. Please let this review save you from making the same mistake that I nearly made.

DISGUSTING ATTITUDE & SERVICE FROM COMPANY OWNER

Fantastic Floors
After dealing with so many companies, i came across Mars floors and i am so proud of the great job they did to my studio. Thank you to Asghar for assisting and getting my floors ready before my expected time! Great work guys keep it up! My Studio looks amazing and i would definitly recommend you to all my family and friends!

Fantastic Floors

Terrible workmanship/very unprofessional installers. Firstly they layed my bedroom flooring incorrectly to instruction and per our agreement then proceeded to try and tell me it was my fault.
