I ordered a Rest Assured Single Mattress online but received the wrong Mattress. The only person that could assist was Cynthia from their Online Department. She was great and it is a pity she is working for a Company with **** advertising.

I bought a mattress on the 12 October 2025 for the value of R11 398 00 at Randfontein "The Matress Company" it is the 11 November 2025 and still no Matress! They did say there is one Cloud Nine mattress at the we're house, we will have it by 16 October 2025??? So we have phoned time and time again and have been promised weekly it will be delivered but still nothing! Cannot believe that a company gives such pure service selling a good mattress like cloud nine I demand that this will be sorted out ASAP

I bought a mattress on the 12 October 2025 for the value of R11 398 00 at Randfontein "The Matress Company" it is the 11 November 2025 and still no Matress! So we have phoned time and time again and have been promised weekly it will be delivered but still nothing! Cannot believe that a company gives such pure service selling a good mattress like cloud nine I demand that this will be sorted out ASAP

Worst worst service I have ever received from a company. You place an order, no one gets back to you to confirm your order, quick to send you a qoute, extremely pathetic to pay back your deposit. I will NOT recommend anyone to buy from The Mattrass Company. And please don't fall for the deposit payment upfront cause they will not pay you back once you cancel the order. I am now waiting 3 days for my refund. Don't hear a word from them unless I phone or whatsapp them. Pathetic - Never in my life have I ever received this kind of service from any company

Ive app**** for a bed. They just tried to sell a bed quick. I got hold of riaan that daid no you will not wait long. Within 2 days my bed and pedestals was delivered. 1 pedestal broken. I went myself to exchange the pedestal at Meyerton mall branch my self. After a month we noticed the bed is sagging in the middle after a lotnof complains eventually a guy Owen came out from henwood cofirm its the base that casue the sagging. After another week we confirmed brom the matrass company that the bed and base will be changed. In the meantime i had calls from different poeple each with their own story. Then they only wamt to change the matrass what about the base now. I am so gatvol they should come and take their bed back. My biggest problem about the matrass company is that they let their supplier deal with me direct , i did not bought the bed from henwood i bought ot from the matrass company. Very bad service recieved and will.never recomend any one to buy from them neither the meyerton branch neither a Henwood bed brand both brands is very bad

I received an online quotation for a standard 3/4 bedset. I requested on Saturday to change the quotation to a standard double bedset. I decided to visit a branch of the The Mattress Company to make sure that bedset I want to order is the correct one for son. He is a rugby player and support is important. The sales person Riaan was very helpful and friendly. I informed him that I got an online quotation but I want to make sure I am going to purchase the correct bed. He said that he is the person that communicated with me. He showed us the options, and also tested the matresses, I decided on a bedset of a R1000 more as it was a better mattress for my son's body. As the quotation was online (qualifying for free delivery) I said I would ask to change the quotation and then pay online. He said I could pay instore, which I did. Delivery was set for Monday, 30 June 2025. Delivery truck arrived around 15:00. My son handled the delivery. A double bed base was delivered with a queen size mattress. The delivery guy insisted on leaving the queen size mattress and said it will be exchanged today. He was instructed not to remove the plastic cover of the mattress. My son phoned 011 6622378 and spoke to a gentleman (unfortunately did not ask for a name) that said he will investigate and phone back. Still waiting for feedback. I also send two emails to Riaan, but still no reply. I phoned Riaan's cellphone, the Silverlakes store number and The Matress Outlet in Johannesburg but no answer. I did not get what I paid for and I am not getting any feedback either! There is a clear difference between double bed and a queen size mattress. My son had to sleep on the coach last night. Knowing the delivery was going to be yesterday, we donated this old bed yesterday morning. It is a huge inconvenious to me!!

I purchased a base and mattress from the mattress company in ruining featherbrook shopping centre on the 22 June and paid cash. The sales man was friendly and helpful until my mattress was was delivered and was too high. The delivery guy from the store advised that I go to the store immediately to share my concerns so they can do the exchange for me of which I did and that's when everything changed. I was found at fault for not knowing the mattress would be too when it gets to myhouse. Even though they don't have it displayed in a way a walk in customer can see the height of what they buying. I. Now being told it will cost me R1850 to do an exchange even though initially this was not shared with me when I purchased. Im highly dissapointed as this is a new store in my area that I was supporting and I'm not willing to pay an additional R2000 for something I didn't and can't use and for being seen as a problem for raising my concerns, this is a serious TCF implication and I will take this matter further if I'm not treated fairly abd would rather cancel everything

This place is just on another level of disappointment, I ordered from them in early April, got a call my delivery cam be expected in 7 to 14 days, needless to say that didn't happen. And when I follow up on their WhatsApp the time was now extended then when I followed up a week later they'd get back to me on the status of my order, I'm still waiting. If only I had read these reviews earlier

very bad service from their manager "Shaun" damage to property and sits and does nothing for 4 weeks on it until I make a noise, will not do business with them and will make sure no family does either
