Battery purchased on 14/10/2022 Battery stoped working on 1/7/2024 Returned to dealer in velddrif Still waiting for replacement Dealer says supplier does not respond to his calls to come out always excuses

Guarantee is a joke. ******* product and useless service
My experience is that this is a poor quality product. It worked for the first few months then stopped working and wouldn't start the engine anymore. Continuous fights with the dealer who said Maxim wouldn't honor the guarantee (battery was under a year old) and I was put in contact with the rep who told me the battery was damaged and that's why the guarantee was void. I asked for a formal report on the battery assessment and received nothing. I then had to fight for them to return my battery so that I could at least get a refund on the lead and they returned a different battery. Please avoid these people like the plague and support an established battery brand.

Maxim batteries (Battery Pro agent)
Bought one of these from Battery Pro Willow Way, Pretoria. Gave constant problems and seller refused to honour warranty/guarantee. Kept blaming it on a faulty alternator or whatever else they could conspiratorially dream up. Bottom line I had to go to Battery Centre Menlyn who did a thorough test and deemed it useless. I have written to the owners of Battery Pro but they dont answer or acknowledge.

Pathetic service
The company sells batteries that don't last and not in good standard they don't last even they say its 2 years warranty had same problem in 2 consecutive year in June battery doesn't supply power and the service I got there when I complained I was told to get the **** out of their shop by a white guy what a pathetic service

Maxim batteries
The battery I bought for my Lexus is250 has 5months left on my warranty but maxim batteries say they can’t help me. So please I suggest don’t buy those batteries as they don’t guarantee the 24months warranty.

damaged battery
My husband bought a maxim carbattery from Grabouw tyres for R1000,00 in September 2015 and the battery has a 2 year guarantee. When he put the battery into his vehicle it did not want to work. He went back to Grabouw tyres to exchange the battery 3 times but they sid not want to replace the battery or refund him. The rep from maxim batteries also did not want to replace the battery. Maxim gives a 2year guarantee on their batteries. I want a new battery or a refund. Very bad service.
