My mom had her camera and washout operation at Isipingo Hospital,on the day of her operation 15 July 2025 ,the nurses advised her to hand her valuables to them which included her wedding rings ,her cellphone and her I.D,she unseeded handed her valuables to them there is footage of her folding up her rings in a paper towel and giving them to one of the nurses, she then was taken to have operation after the operation a male nurse came back to give her valuables but her rings were missing ,she complained that her rings were missing, they said the will do an investigation and would update by giving us a phone call on Friday 19 July 2025 but since today they have not given us a call or an update it just been radio silence from them,it is clear that the rings were ****** by one of the nurses and we plan on opening a case now and taking it to social media..

I am a grieving Mother who had just lost her 6 week old baby boy at your hospital on the 21st of September 2023. In that on the 19th of September 2023 my son was moved from MICU to NICU in the late afternoon. I was told to go home and leave him as they are no mothers beds in the NICU. I left my son in a stable condition and luckily I took a video of him showing my family that I am leaving this big boy at NICU. That is enough proof that baby was stable. I strictly advised that sister looking dater him that baby needs attention cause you cannot hear him when he cries as he suffers from vocal cord paralysis "laryngomalacia". He was going to be moved to city hospital on Thursday. The next morning September 20, 2023 i arrived at 10am to see him, I was told to wait as the dpctors are busy with him. No one called to advised on what transpired, little did I know that my son was found not breathing, and they not sure for how long he was in that condition. Apparently they was a doctor on site who was busy with another baby who helped to save my baby , but I was told it them so long to bring him back to life. Dr kubheka and sister in charge took me and my husband to a office and advised of what happened, Dr Kubheka thought we were called, but no one took that initiative because they knew they are at fault. In that afternoon Dr thula came and tried to save my baby but it was too late, he didn't see the next morning on of September 21,2023. I was told baby had a skeptic shock which I totally don't understand.. Negligent is what took my son from me and my family. I am shattered and regret trusting your hospital with my baby Nkanyezi. I am taking legal action against the hospital and the nurse who was assigned to my baby. I won't until someone is held accountable, this will happen to another baby.

I am appalled at the lack of patient and customer care displayed by the staff working at the Isipingo hospital. My mother was brought into Trauma early hours of the morning Saturday morning 30 Sep. 2023. She was admitted into a ward by the doctor in ER Dr Mansoor after she received emergency treatment. I am based in JHB, to assist her I requested checkers 60 delivery of essential toiletries to be delivered to the hospital for her attention. The staff were reluctant to help not allowing the delivery into the hospital. Mr. Zulu the security on duty refused to help or to even allow the parcel to be left, I called the reception and was advised that it should be left with security because that is the reception the lady was not keen on assisting. I had to call the ward and beg the nurses to please fetch the parcel from downstairs. Not knowing that was the beginning of our problems. Dr Mansoor requested another doctor to assist with rounds as he was not in. I had called my mother at that time to reassure her that the delivery was on the way up, whilst I was awaiting her response on the other end of the phone. I could hear the doctor shouting and reprimanding my 65-year-old mother like a child about her being on the phone. And asking her " if she wants to get treatment or if she wants to be on the phone?" As if my mother couldn't understand English the nurse jumped in to interpret for the doctor in a harsh tone. At that point my mother had been shamed in the ward for other patients to hear. This behavior is completely unacceptable from medical staff in any hospital, the treating doctor then refused to check and treat my mother and walked off to other patients as if he were punishing her. He only later decided to check her when he felt that the punishment was enough. My mother tried to explain the context of the situation, but the doctor was not interested. It was clear at that point that the hospital does not value its patients. The doctors and the nurses are rude, arrogant and condescending towards patients. The doctor refused to further speak to me or my mother and sent the nurses to initiate the communication. My mother has been a loyal customer to this hospital her records can be checked to verify this. However, the treatment she received this weekend will ensure that we don't return to this place.

A month ago I gave birth at this Hospital and I'm so thankful for the maternity ward staff. They were so caring through out. I had complications during labour pains and Giving birth, but they were there for me through out. To mention a few the ones I spend lots of time with was Sister Pillay, Sister Alex and Nurse Cele🥰. Then the main character Baba Zungu, who is always calm and so perfect in his profession👌. Keep it up guys 👌
