I worked as a bartender/waiter in October but despite their promise to pay me my wages plus tip money on the same night when my shift ended at 12:00am, I still haven't received any payment from them, and it's now November.

Lovely wedding, but no refund 3 months later for deposit paid for bar account and not all used. They are quick to take your money. Ignoring phone calls and emails. Please do not pay anything you may need a refund for afterwards.

This is completely unacceptable. How can a business not provide an approved refund to their customer for over 10 months? And the worst part is that they do not bother to reply to emails or phone calls anymore. If i could give them a zero star i would.

My wedding was the 1st of may 2022- it was really a great experience- lovely food, beautiful venue. A few things were not done but overall- on my day i cannot complain. However - the after service has been terrible. And the sad reality is that i have seen many complaints about the same thing- REFUNDS. When its time for payment - we as customers try our best to pay pay pay and note its not a cheap venue- but when the roles are reversed then you expected to just wait. I have waited two months now for my refund and i have been put in a **** position - nagging for my money. All other suppliers with smaller businesses have paid their refunds back yet a larger supplier cannot. I keep asking and was told i will not be getting a refund this month. That is honestly not fair. The contract states 30 days after the event not whenever we can. i am so upset that i have to be put in a position where i need to follow up , ask, keep asking and nagging over what is rightfully mine.

The lack of communication is just not good at all. Memoire took my money and till without providing me with a wedding party. I understand the country was on lockdown however now I have asked for a refund and they have agreed to refund me in November 2021. Today in June 2022 I have yet to receive 1 rand from them and the communication lines have completely broken down it seems because they do not reply to emails or phone calls. This is utterly unacceptable from a business and customer service standpoint. I would like to have my money back, please.
