DISGUSTING SERVICE FROM METRO BUS. METRO BUS INSPECTORS IS STOPPING THE SCHOOL CHILDREN AND OLD PEOPLE FROM TAKING THE BUSES. MY KIDS HAVE BEEN WAITING SINCE 15H30 TO TAKE THE BUS BUT THE INSTRUCTOR WONT LET THEM GET ON THE BUS. METRO PLEASE PROVIDE EXTRA BUSES BECAUSE THE COMMUTERS CANT GET BUSES TO COME HOME. IT IS NOW 16H58 AND MY KIDS ARE STILL STUCK AT GHANDI!!!!!!!! GET MORE BUSES AND FIX YOUR DAMN INSTRUCTORS!!!!!!!!! AND YOUR CHARGERS ARE INCONSISTANT!!! FIX IT.....

Worst service ever. This new pricing not working a scholer less the 25km but charged R36 per trip went to gandi where staff dobt know head from tail how their system works, they dont care their services is just disgusting. The busses is just as poor stuck all over place

This change of tags is so unreasonable and time consuming🥵🥵we are not happy at all... Image from 14 trips R288 to 14 trips of R700 haibooo how possible is that... And also this machine is reading incorrect zones...yesterday I came from Gandhi to Turffontein it charged me R14.80... The following day it charged me R30.80....like howwww? Same route different prices.... This is ridiculous. Metro must do something.

Service is extremely pathetic! People travel far places standing for long periods on busses. Not to mention commuters not having busses due to busses breaking down or whether a bus is available to the bus driver or whether the bus driver is at work! They promised new busses yet we got a few busses (can count on my one hand) those busses are cheap and poorly developed. It is not disable - friendly and we get squashed like sardines. They take away certain busses and most busses are delayed due to their poor management! We only have 1 operating hospital bus to and from Johannesburg that barely ever comes. Now there are increases on bus prices and they are taking away transfer which mean TRIPLE THE PRICE for everyone. Good luck making a profit from this - its a dumb decision! you are already profiting on cashless systems of which we were okay with!

Not to mention commuters not having busses due to busses breaking down or whether a bus is available to the bus driver or whether the bus driver is at work! They promised new busses yet we got a few busses (can count on my one hand) those busses are cheap and poorly developed. It is not disable - friendly and we get squashed like sardines. Complaint: Ongoing Poor Service on Metrobus Route 45 – 05:30 Bus Missing for 3 Weeks Dear Metrobus / Hello Peter, I am writing this message as a deeply frustrated and disappointed commuter who relies on Metrobus daily to get to work. I am extremely dissatisfied with the poor customer service and unreliable performance, especially on Route 45. The first bus scheduled at 05:30 has not shown up for the past three weeks. Every day, we are met with the same vague excuse: “the bus broke down.” What’s even more frustrating is the complete lack of urgency or care from your staff to resolve this issue. We ask for updates, but no real solutions are given. It’s as if the needs of your loyal commuters simply don’t matter. Because of this, I have had to spend money daily on taxis and Ubers just to get to Gandhi Square in time to catch my 06:00 Sandton bus. The next Route 45 bus only arrives at 06:30, which is far too late for my schedule. This situation is costing me not just money, but also peace of mind. Three weeks of this nonsense is unacceptable. I urge Metrobus to treat this matter seriously — commuters like me are not fools. We deserve reliable service and accountable management. Please do something urgently about the 05:30 bus on Route 45, and stop feeding us weak excuses.

My son has been taking a 6:30am bus from Westgate Mall to Sandton via MTN passing Northcliff, the bus hasn't been coming, he is always late for school because the 7:00 o' clock bus gets him to school late, nothing was communicated and when I asked the ladies that are normally by the bus terminal driving a white car, they are telling me the 6:30 bus is no longer operating, they have combined the 6:00 and 6:30, she's not even sure what time it leaves westgate mall. I am trying to call the numbers on your website and no one is answering. I am so frustrated, it's exam time and our kids cannot afford to get to school late. When they get there they are panicking, they can't focus and have anxiety. This is pathetic. Aren't any of you parents? Didn't you see the necessity to inform us? This is so unprofessional, it's like people don't know what they are doing. You can't at least just put a note at the bus terminals? Metrobus is just useless, you don't deserve our support.

Since the last time I wrote to Hello Peter, there's no change regarding the 6am and 6:30pm busses. In the morning we use bus nr 47 which gets too full and it's very difficult to breathe. Last week Monday the 6am bus came only once and this week too only on Monday and it was empty , I saw the bus while I was in bus nr 47 to town. Yesterday and today there was no bus, 😞😞😞
