Absolutely shocking communication and admin. I have never engaged with such bully's without any interest in customer service. Their Terms and Conditions CLEARLY state that payment is due 21 days before start date however they invoiced me on enrolment. Without any other communications, they sent invoices over and over while I was still trying to find out a suitable start date. There was no comms stating that payment was due before start date was agreed to and then they hand me over to lawyers. I then paid the fee I was quoted and not any 'late payment' as their T&C's clearly state on start date however I now get emails for the late payment. When asked for clarification on why I am being charged late payment, I get told I am looking fort loopholes and I will be handed over. The teacher is amazing however I will not be returning or recommending this place to anyone.

We had a great teacher and the course is fairly good but the administration is horrific. If you are averse to pushy hard-sell emails, guilt-tripping and very poor communication stay away! A real pity as our teacher is excellent but the Administration dire. Threatening with black listing you whislt trying to communicate and sort out their poos admin!

Expressing my utmost dissatisfaction with a service received from MICSA of Languages, last year March/April I had enrolled for online Portuguese classes in which the classes commenced around April however I was not satisfied with the manner in which the sessions were offered as my learning expectations were not met-Firstly I intended to partake in Brazilian Portuguese and also the sessions were not offered to cater for beginners and it was very fast paced. I had then dropped after attending 2-3 sessions and had also informed the institution that the course had not met my expectations however MICASA had decided to hand me over to its lawyers of which a default was listed against my profile which negatively affected my career- There was never an instance where I have not responded to MICASA or its lawyers emails or calls explaining the reason for dropping out and subsequently not paying. I had also contacted the institution to enquire regarding the default and had received a response from Craig Van Der Merwe that I need to contact its lawyers Duvesco which I did several times and I was advised by Cherilene from Duvesco that the instruction to list the default on my credit profile was received from MICASA which I did contact MICASA and liaised with Craig Van Der Merwe on numerous emails (This can be shared on request) he informed me that the listing will not be removed until I settle the balance and my question was how do I pay for a service which I have not benefitted from? Secondly, I had requested Craig to look at the number of students who have dropped out from the very same class, this alone should give a clear indication of the type of service rendered by MICASA- I had also referred my colleague who had paid the full course amount and he also dropped out for the same reasons and he did also confirm that a number of students had also dropped out. I had then proposed to Craig that it will only be fair if I pay for the 2-3 sessions which I had attended and he refused demanding that I pay the full course amount-Craig Van Der Merwe had also passed threats that the institution will sue me should I air my dissatisfaction on public platforms in which my response to him was that it is within my constitutional right to ventilate a bad service should I not receive a constructive feedback from the service provider of which I had tried several times as per the email trails of which there was still no positive outcome instead I kept on being referred to engage the lawyers in which the lawyers were also not able to support understandably they acted based on the instruction received from MICSA. I am hoping this review will be seen by the Directorship of MICASA and wiling to engage with them further and furnish any correspondences which they may require to resolve this long standing matter. I had sadly lost a great employment opportunity due to such!

We had a great teacher and the course is fairly good but the administration is horrific. They promise and suggest continuity but have messed both my group and my husband's around and cancelled my group at the last minute. If you are averse to pushy hard-sell emails, guilt-tripping and very poor communication stay away! A real pity as our teacher is excellent but the Administration dire. I even got an invoice for the course that they cancelled the day before it was due to start! Learning a language should be fun but dealing with MiCasa made it a serious c****!

An unfortunate experience to say the least. Paloma, my tutor, was great but unfortunately that’s where the good news stops. The course material was lacking and boring, no plans have been made by the school to combat load shedding so lessons are cancelled minutes before they begin. Coupled with that, the accounts department are hell bent on extracting financial remuneration for lessons that didn’t occur as yet. Craig, an assistant financial manager, has no interest in assisting or hearing what the actual issue is either through unwillingness to help or inability to understand and simply resorts to bullying and threats of handing over. Steer clear of Mi Casa.

This is an exceptional language school. My teacher was Patient, kind and adapted my lessons to my learning pace. I completed all levels and found that their pricing was affordable and their administration departments was always on hand to solve any queries, lesson rescheduling and technical problems that i might of had. I read a negative comments and I have to say that I totally disagree. If you sign up for a gym contact you are still liable to pay the fee`s even if you don't go to gym at all and my thoughts are that the same principal would apply to any service agreement. Thank you Mi Casa you have made my learning experience extremely pleasurable.

I joined the level 2 from July this year, as did Level 1 with them and happy do far. I asked for a Tuesday and Thursday class but was told no I have to attend the Monday and Wednesday class. All the students dropped out of the skype classes with only myself left and 6 classes to go now. I was then told by Ana the student advisor, that I have to switch to the Tuesday and Thursday class otherwise pay for one to one tuition. I couldn't as (1) have other commitments, (2)they are 5 classes behind, (3) I wanted to join that class from the beginning, so they say they offer solutions but clearly dont. I wont be completing Level 3 with them and do not recommend them, will get other tuition rather. Unfortunately this has left a bad taste and not professional when I am the last student left, want to attend and finish but have to either pay more, switch classes or wait until a course becomes free and I can join whenever that is, incl in 2022 and I have lost months of focus...doesn't make sense at all!
