This is by far the worst customer experience I have had ever. Went in to buy milk, I paid with a older R100 note which was out right refused. I tried to speak to the owner of this business who pointed me to another lady who works with what is seems like, the finances to query this as this was not a false note, it was just one of the older notes and was told that the bank refuses the older notes. As far as I know these notes are still in circulation and cannot be refused by shop owners. I was told that they do not except them and I had to go and exchange this note. REALLY????? Needless to say I did not take the milk and left while the cashiers sat laughing at my embarrassment. I tried to argue with the lady that these notes are still legal and that businesses are not allowed to refuse them as payment for goods, unfortunately she did not want to hear about it. Well I am the one who is sorry as I will no longer support Mias Wholesale.

Do not even bother with Mias at Chatsworth Centre they advertised Bombay Crush for R50 not only was it not Bombay crush they didn't even attempt to even produce anything resembling it. Pathetic and I couldn't rate it a zero so it's a very reluctant 1 star

The staff at Mias Woodmead branch are super friendly and helpful. They stock an extensive range of products and I can recommend them to anyone looking to buy quality fishing tackle at a competitive price.

Poor presentation of food as well as quality and taste a total waste of money. Kindly improve. #BlackFriday

Awful experience. First off I bought a Mitchell ultralight rod which broke after the first fish. Then I was told I don't know how to fish. Second thing, I bought a real for 1600 which was defective at which point I took it back and was told once again that I'm incompetent at which point they wanted to ban me from the shop on only give me 1000 back. All in all I hope mias gets shut down. I would suggest world of fishing instead for excellent service.

I had spent over R7000 on a new reel and rod (and extras!) on Saturday 16/04/16. Went to Randburg branch on 18/04/16 to put braid on reel to discover that there was a small clip missing on the new reel and I was told to take it back to woodmead branch where i purchased the reel. I went today 19/04/16 where i was basically told i was a liar and thief on showing them the brand new reel. I asked them to phone their Randburg branch where we noticed the missing clip! With Hassan's reply saying i must use my phone (cheap!) after being a 25 year customer!
He could have chosen to replace the reel or clip worth 30c but chose to fight me and make it difficult. Then asking me for my proof of purchase! When he knows me very well and sold me the reel 3 days before! Trying to make things as difficult as he can! For a 30c clip! There's loyalty for your 25 year customer! I will never do another business transaction with Mias angling again! I urge their other customers to purchase from Western accessories for loyalty service and much more competitive prices!
And just to let you know Pure fishing. (Penn)That Mias is selling your great product but giving you a bad name!!
Took in a set of hammerhead sun glass under an international warranty to MIAS for repair.
Dropped off at MIAS on the 15 May 2015 and only got them back on the 2nd October 2015 after having to call every week with no response or call back from them, I had to call the hammerhead agent, myself to get a response that it had been ready for months but not collected by MIAS and they never call them.
MIAS then wanted to charge me R550 on a $12 international price (R166.00 on the exchange rate of the day). Then lied to me multiple time and blamed the agent for their incompetence, would not even honor the inter nation warranty price.
After arguing with me I had to pay R300.00 for a $12.00 repair. This is exploitation and a rip off of customers. Be warred
