My partner purchased a Mazda BT-50 2.2L from Midcity Motors 2 (Klerksdorp) at the end of October 2024. From day one, the vehicle had serious defects, including severe overheating, lack of power, smoking, and non-functional cruise control, despite being advertised as working. A diagnostic test on 5 December 2024 revealed multiple faults. Even after replacing most of the cooling system, the vehicle continued to overheat. The sales manager at the time (André) authorized refunding of limited costs (water pump, thermostat, viscous fan), but the underlying issues remained unresolved. I then took the vehicle to an independent specialist mechanic. His findings were alarming: - Engine timing was far out - Loose timing guide bolts - Red gasket silicone inside the engine - Turbo completely broken - Corroded pickup sensor wiring - Engine warning light deliberately disconnected on the instrument cluster to conceal faults - The timing had to be redone, the turbo replaced, and wiring repaired. The mechanic’s costs amounted to R18 257, which I had to pay myself. Despite this, the vehicle STILL overheats to this day. The mechanic’s professional opinion was that the engine has done far more than the 170,000 km stated on the odometer. Under the Consumer Protection Act, this vehicle was clearly not of acceptable quality, not reasonably durable, and not fit for purpose. The deliberate disabling of the engine warning light and failure to disclose material defects constitutes misrepresentation and deceptive conduct. The dealership failed to meet its legal obligations, and this experience reflects extremely serious and potentially *****ulent practices. I would STRONGLY caution consumers against dealing with this dealership.

Gerhard van Niekerk. Mid City Motors. Went from Kimberley to Klerksdorp to purchase a vehicle from the word of Natalie. That afternoon she found that a colleague of her sold the car the same day. However I could recon she felt bad about it and promised to repay my travel and sleepover costs which they also did the following week. Now that i call integrity and honesty. I will definitely deal with them again.

Sold a car which I questioned how it could pass aroadworthy. Lights not working g worn shock, l knock on steering wheel, faulty gearbox they don't even cleaned the vehicle when delivered the seats arewerner@midcity2.co.za shocking. I have filed a complaint with the Onbudsman. All the complainants need to stand together let's take this cases to Carte Blanch. Or contact the zonbusman. Werner the dealer Principal doesn't even take calls or respond. Zelda is covering for her salesman. They are so use to lies. They are advertising on OFM.. we need to warn people. I want my money back a d will not stop until I get it back.

We purchased a vehicle with serious issues that they were fully aware of even before the sale. From day one, we brought these problems to their attention, yet instead of addressing the issue, they have chosen to ignore it and evade their responsibility. This is not only dishonest but also highly unprofessional and unacceptable. We have struggled for months, made numerous requests, and tried to find a fair resolution, but their refusal to act clearly shows that they have no respect for their customers or basic principles of integrity. This kind of behavior is outrageous and inexcusable!

Mid City Motors 2: Sales Representative: Abe Owner: Werner Purchase date :18-09-2024 Audi A3 1.8 TFSI From the very beginning, there were known issues with the car, which the sales representative was aware of at the time of sale. These issues included maximum engine speed errors and other mechanical faults. However, despite knowing about these problems, the dealership proceeded with the sale without addressing them. Upon reviewing the service history of the vehicle, I discovered that the last recorded service was on 3 March 2022, at 112,172 km. The dealership did not service the car before reselling it, which raises serious concerns about their business practices and commitment to customer safety. Shortly after purchasing the vehicle, (27 September 2024) I started experiencing multiple mechanical issues. I immediately brought these concerns to the attention of the sales representative via WhatsApp messages and phone calls, consistently expressing my dissatisfaction and worries about the car's performance and safety risks. However, despite my ongoing efforts to communicate with the dealership, little to no action was taken to resolve these issues. By November 2024, the problems worsened significantly, and I began experiencing a gearbox malfunction error, in addition to the previously identified faults. Since then, the car has continued to deteriorate, making it increasingly unreliable and unsafe to drive. I have made multiple attempts to resolve this matter directly with Mid City Motors 2 Klerksdorp, yet my concerns have been largely ignored.

I am writing to recommend Midcity Motor CBD, where I recently purchased a vehicle. My experience with Midcity Motor has been excellent, and I am very satisfied with both the service and the quality of the car I bought. The team at Midcity Motor CBD was professional, knowledgeable, and accommodating throughout the entire process. They provided clear information, answered all of my questions, and ensured that the transaction went smoothly. I was particularly impressed with their customer service and the transparency with which they handled the sale. The vehicle I purchased is in great condition and has met all of my expectations. Based on my positive experience, I would highly recommend Midcity Motor CBD to anyone looking to buy a car. If you need any additional details about my experience, feel free to reach out.

Mid city motors 2 sells broken vehicles to clients. They insulted me by swearing me, I have voicenote proof. They keep on "fixing" my vehicle then it doesn't even last 2 weeks then it breaks again. I didn't even have the vehicle for 3 weeks then it broke and i couldn't drive the vehicle. I'm unsatisfied with the service
