The level of lack of passion, commitment to serve the community in the Midrand West Clinic is disheartening. Never mind the note on the walls of making clients to wait 3 hours. Today i was at the clinic for my son 18 months vaccine, after 1hr30mins of waiting for my son to be called in, 2 sisters sitting in consultant room busy chatting and laughing loud 1 by the names of Mamotebang Limba and Princess Majtiu refused to immunise my child saying they only do immunisation after the child has tested for HIV on the other room bare in mind i am being told this 1hr30 of me waiting with no help. i decide to ask the manager and ask for my son clinic card so i can go. Still there was no sense of trying to help look for the person who is suppsoe to help they threw the clinic card on me and continue catching up. The Manager Mary Lepota has to assign someone to assist me with immunisation as i was no longer interested in compiling and do the HIV which is volunteer now when i get the story correct from the sister but they were forcing me to do it as if its compulsory as per the other 2 nurses said but either immunise or go home. They made me to fill in a form of refusal to do it while i told them i do not care about the HIV if they person who does it is not there. The clinic staff is using their powers on patronise the community who rely on them for help and use their titles. This is very rude and inconsiderate from the people we rely on for help. Can the staff not lie to people and install their own rules coz they do not want to work and chase people or make people wait. i am not going to let this one go without reporting it to the provincial office the ************** we recieved.

I am so deeply upset about the service here . My nanny went here because she had bad headaches and they send her home with no treatment or a referral letter and she passed away the same night. You people don't give a **** about anyone's health and should not even be practicing medicine!!

We've always had a positive experience at Midrand west. Never more than a 3 hour wait, which in my opinion is not bad considering it is a government facility with allot of foot traffic. Today unfortunately we were met with hostility and unwillingness to assist by a Sylvia Nkuna. Lack of understanding, lack of compassion, and lack of willingness to provide basic medical. She passed alot of judgement and we sensed some racial resentment. This individual has no right to be in the business of caring for people. I'm disgusted that she is allowed to be here. She needs to be removed and her license taken away.

Pathetic lack of professionalism in this place of care for the sick, think if you were dying no one would even bother as they continue to chat and walk around aimlessly. No respect for their jobs and attention to what they are trained for instead shout at the patients as if they are doing us a favour with such poor service and quality that any medication is given to brush off the simple task of listening to patients-totally appalled by the behaviour and arrogance of the staff as no care was taken whilst I came in pain for help (under circumstances I had no choice but to reach out to a public health service but got turned away as everyone rushed away to get home)-it was closing time but certainly you don’t belittle a person in need of assistance.

This place is a ****, they are supposed to be a government facility assisting the community but that is not what's happening here. My younger brother of 18 years old visited the clinic today, upon reaching the front desk to open his file to be seen to as he has the flu, he was told by the people at the front desk that the fee to be seen to at the clinic is R580 and that it is only free for patients who already go there! What nonsense is this, I have never seen or heard of this happening at any government facilities, I have taken a lot of new patients to this clinic and they were never asked for a fee, let alone the fee being R580. They most definitely wanted to split the money amongst them. He was so scared and nervous by their behavior that he turned around and walked away without receiving treatment!!! This is utter bull**** and these people need to be reprimanded for this kind of disgusting behavior. We will be taking this matter further and make sure it reaches all ears!
