15th February 2026 My aunt was at work when she fainted at work and around 9’oclock whe recieved a call from a supervisor who was in charge at that day to come and fetch her or maybe she can take her to the taxi rank and will meet with her at the point she gets off . When I got to midvaal private hospital I found my aunt sitting in the laundry station weak at the corner and when I asked why she was not attended she said it’s not the hospitals responsibility but I should take her to Dr Hleziyo he’ll give her good treatment and so I took my aunt to the car few days later my aunt passed away due to lack of oxygen but the hospital didn’t do anything now they claim that my aunt was on leave. So my question is why would one come critical to work while on leave are we stupid and now they just signed a leave form that Sunday as if she was never meant to come. We need answers as why such a big hospital let their work employee leave a hospital without any stabilisation and medical care while critical

I paid R 260.00 cash I don't know if it's admission fee or copayment. My partner went and paid the same amount the following day. A day after which was Sunday I went into the hospital requesting a refund, I filled in forms and was told the money would be in my account on Wednesday . Come Wednesday no refund I called the hospital and was sent from pillar to post no one willing to be held accountable. I was told the accounts depot have left for the day and I would now receive the money on Friday. Meaning they never processed my refund. I'm complaining because this amount is demanded beforehand , Everytime I take my son to their ER I pay this amount and it's said its for opening a new file. Why open a new file when there's an existing one my sons is not a new patient . What are computers for if not record keeping?? I don't even know why insist on depositing the money into my account when I paid cash? I believe I won't get treatment prior to paying the money so why should it be pulling teeth to refund me my money. Even the Netcare ambulance does not depart before you produce your medical aid but the service at the Casualty is horrible!!! You just placed little kids there who cannot give clarity on certain procedures and laugh everything away or simply say they don't know that's the way it is...Medi Clinic does not ask for copayment ,you walk into their ER and you're assisted with no hassle. And kids take priority The nurse even assigned me a job to give my son a suppository,I struggled opening the package. I don't mind at all he's mine after all &wasn't even giving them a hassle however where is the healthcare?? What am I paying for?? Why not send me home with the meds then I'll administer everything from home .Because then I should invoice for labour provided!!She didn't even check if I'd washed my hands prior to that or. It's not about the money as such but about principle. Honour your promise! I could've easily also said I don't not have the R260 which I didn't but I made a place cause the staff was insisting on it. Another thing stop holding people hostage! I asked to get food at a vending machine and was told about a shift change. What does that have to do with memy son was sleeping I'm sure 5min away wouldn't kill him. Even when that shift change happened...in normal private hospital the current shift comes around with the new shift to introduce or bring them up to speed with the new patients, what the patient is admitted for and what they've administered thus far But none of that was done. I just saw new faces and they couldn't even answer when I asked are we being admitted or not. Pathetic!!! REALLY

I got the distinct impression that the doctors at this hospital are profit driven. I went to casualty for severe vomiting on Monday morning. The casualty staff were good. Nursing staff in the ward were okay, but the doctors give the impression that they are ultimately profit driven. Although the sonar & X-rays showed all good, the male surgeon just wanted to go in scalpels blazing to "have a look what's going on". I told him "Hell no". I'd never consulted with this surgeon before & he just wanted to start slicing away like I was a Sunday roast. Not too impressed with Dr Goldswain either. I'd also never consulted with this doctor either. They both just wanted to do all sorts of very expensive tests. Goldswain eventually realised none of this was happening & relented to a simple blood test. The beds are antiquainted, toilet seat in the bathroom was loose so sitting on the loo was an "adventure" to say the least. The chef also needs intense culinary training. This place won't be seeing me again anytime soon. I'll be telling my GP whose been my doctor for 23 years about the shambolic experience.

Thursday my Partner was admitted and unfortunately we lost the baby. Friday she got discharged and had to take one day leave to go and fetch her and because its Friday obviously the company that I work for will need some sort of letter showing why I took this day off. The doctors in this Hospital said I was not the Patient and I cannot have any letter. After loosing a Child and now I have to deal with this, The treatment was not nice at all and I will never set my foot to this hospital again...That is why Netcare always wins.

Best care ever. Was taken into hospital and spend four days in ward 1. The care was 1st class. The nurses are really helpfull and caring. They where all conserned about my well being and did their best to help my situation improve. Thank you so much for all from the head nurse all the way down. Thank you.

I had 3rd degree burns to my legs and face. Today I’m healing nicely and back on my feet. I was treated so well here that I didn’t want to leave. Sister Haneki (Unit manager) and her personal were extraordinary. Vicky and Jacky 🥹 keep doing what you do! The night shift Sis Lindy made sleeping there feel like a hotel experience always at my beck and call! I really appreciate your contribution
