My wife bought a coffee machine online. Paid for it and everything. This is what she wanted as it was her Christmas gift. Only to be notified 2vdays later that Makro is canceling the sale as there is no stock available yet the site showed 2 items available at the time of sale. No contact made from Makro, only a mail saying sorry deal canceled, money will be refunded. This is not exeptable why show to items on hand only to take ones money and then to notify that there is no stock. Dealing with Makro for long and never had to experience this level of service.
Disappoinent With my uncle and aunt owning one of the best Spurs in South Africa, I always loved the brand. After the service I received in Meyerton Spur today, I think a lot of water will have to run into the sea before I support them again. We stopped by to have a breakfast after voting. Walked in and was seated. Our order was taken. The coffee came and then started the wait for our breakfast. Few minutes later a couple was seated next to us. The waiter who took our order proceeded to put two slices of toast on our table and disappeared. Another couple came in and was seated at the table in front of us. The first couple that arrived after us received their food and we where left waiting in anticipation. Then to our surprise the second couple received their food. Both these couple arrived after I already finished my coffee and they are receiving food before us. Our waiter was nowhere to be found for more than 45 minutes. We decided to leave as we where not receiving food and the other couples was nearly finished eating. At the till they could still not find our waiter to give us a bill. She then arrived there with the manager who then informed us we need to be patient as they are very busy. After sitting there waiting for over an hour I think I was patient enough. Seeing that people entering the place after us already received food and was nearly finished eating. Never have I ever received such service in a Spur. So disappointing.
Best care ever. Was taken into hospital and spend four days in ward 1. The care was 1st class. The nurses are really helpfull and caring. They where all conserned about my well being and did their best to help my situation improve. Thank you so much for all from the head nurse all the way down. Thank you.
Mtn advertise a product but trying to get information from them on that product seems to be impossible. Phoning the 135 customer care line turns out to be a run around. Giving other numbers to contact just another dead end. The local shop say sorry they cant help please phone customer care. Write a email only to get one back to say please source information over the website which doesnt have the answers I'm looking for. Consider moving my business to MTN but with service like this I wil refrain.
After writing a mail requesting Makro to assist with a quotation for the insurance to replace my Tv, I was left disappointed because of no service or reply on their behalf for more than a week . So the next step was to give them a call and request a quotation. I was informed that I would recieve it right away seeing that I already suffered disappointment. Two days later and still nothing. So the next practicle step was to go into the store personally and the disappointment continued. I came from work and went into the store only to be told I cant be help with a quotation, not bying it, no, just a quotation because I dont have my Makro card with me. Offered to phone my wife to get the number, even had her sent a photo, only to hear sorry sir. I left the store still not having a quotation. On the other hand Hi-Fi Corporation assisted in under 10 minutes and I walked out with my quotation. How is it that other major retailers have to stand aside for Mass stores like Makro that doesnt want to deliver a service to the public.
Worst company ever. Contacted for life insurance. Go through process only to get to the question of whether they may share your information and sent promotional information to you. My choice right, wrong. The moment I replied "no" I was informed they cant continue with the process.
Visited shop to get internet sim and data I was told to buy sim from another supplier because the manager is absent, did that. On returning I was informed sim is wrong and that I didn't ask for the correct sim in the first place. She then said that they were offline when I got agrivated she informed me she is doing me a favour to assist me. She doesn't have to help me if she didn't want to. I can take my bussiness elswhere. She then grabbed my papers out of my hands wanting to to assist at which stage she informed me that I'm not important and she doesn't need to assist me. Really.
