My house was sold a year ago, the title has been on the new owner's name since October 2023. On 9 August 2024, I received an email saying that the municipality owed me R4730 for the 3 months deposit I paid for the municipal costs. I never thought I would get it back so it was a nice surprise. I emailed back, gave my new banking details and then they proceeded to ignore me flat for 2 months. Multiple emails, phone calls, messages to the people in charge of refunds IGNORED. I got the Public Protector involved and let them know last week that I did, and suddenly I get a phone call from Lesiba, claiming he has asked me for documents. Lies, I was ignored for weeks on weeks. He then says Oh it has to be authorised and there is no timeframe for the payment to actually be made. This feels like it was said to shut me up. How long can authorisation take? I emailed and phoned him again this morning and I AM BEING IGNORED YET AGAIN. I am sick of this, they owe me money, they know they do and this municipality is known for *******ion. But I will not give up, I am going every possible route to get my money out of them. Lesiba, Phillipine, Ansa, whoever there is. They are back to ignoring me. Ridiculous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm impressed with Mogalakwena Municipality. If you have arrears on your bill, you come do arrangements. They cut your bill in half. You owe R1000, you pay R500 they absorb the R500. This is the 1st of it's kind. Go speak to them. Struuđ€ Great campaign Mogalakwenađ

I have been trying to get in touch with the municipality for the past 3 weeks now. My prepaid meter is showing errors and I can not insert my electricity voucher code. I received a phone call regarding my email informing me that someone will be sent the following day. Needless to say, NO ONE SHOWED UP!!! I then contacted the municipality a day or two later and they informed me that someone will be sent the same day. AGAIN NO ONE SHOWED UP!!! Apparently, my land lord has also contacted the municipality a few times but there is absolutely NO ASSISTANCE!?! I have informed the municipality via phone call that if no one comes out, I am forced to bridge the meter myself. Calling the municipality countless times does not seem to work. I FIND THE MUNICIPALITY OF MOKOPANE MOGALAKWENA ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC!!!

I salute Mogalakwena Municipality for love and support they had shown to idol Thapelo Molomo. They carried him on their shoulders. Mayor and the one who is head of arts and culture were constantly on social media encouraging people to support and vote for Thapelo. It is first time I saw people United and supporting individual. It was amazing. Limpopo people we are United. Together we stand. I was worried. Now I had no fought about Limpopo. We called Matema but that will never happen.we will support best idol.

If I ever had a bad manager, I would never jeopardise my own workplace. Our municipality is so corrupt and what a complete joke!
