Struggling to provide for my tipex 1 diabetic wife premature born baby girl and son had to sell half my appliances to cover a monthly bill of nearly 4k a month and all that after coj just needed mongrey boddy corporate to go into their offices to change the business tarrifs I'm paying to residential but it's an ongoing struggle with no help nor feedback what so ever time to call upon nersa and coj and housing tribunal to escalate the matter because mongrey is not helping residents whatsoever

This managing body has allowed ****mers to take advantage of us. They have used their personal accounts for our complex Financials where we see car service, DSTV payments etc with our finances. They have refused us an AGM, saying the books are not audited in November 2025 whereas the financial year end was in February. They have allowed their friend trustees to misuse our monies.

This managing body has allowed ****mers to take advantage of us. They have used their personal accounts for our complex Financials where we see car service, DSTV payments etc with our finances. We have an insurance claim against the body corp of our complex, for a stove/hob that was installed before we even bought the place, they refuse to fix/ replace the unit and say it not against them, as it is a built-in unit, it is part of building insurance and not content. The agents refuse to resolve this, they also accepted an invalid COC, which would have indicated that there was an issue, if it was done properly

I stayed at pelican lofts for 5 years and really got a very bad experience under monica from Mongrey properties. 1. Mongrey couldn't maintain the property, things are getting damaged they don't have money to fix, they used to pay city power R5000 on electricity & joburg water R5000 every 6 months which resulted in regular cuts off of electricity and water. 2. we had to start paying for cleaning our yards but she kept on increasing the levies every year. 3. they owe city power & joburg water alot of money, i have evidence and proof of this because i called city power and joburg water and asked them why do regular cut off because if its not water its electricity and this cut off happen monthly because she defaults regularly on he arrangements with those entities 4. Never ever buy a property where Mongrey operates if you want your properties to be poorly managed please ask Mongrey properies to poorly manage your property. I also didn't trust them when it came to the sale of my property. we were illtreated by monica the owner, she will never ever pick up your calls even when you have an emergency in the property and she will never ever come back to you even after leaving 20 missed calls on her cellphone. They're a piece of **** nonsense to work with, we always prayed that our house runs smoothly otherwise we will have stress when we need help from Monica. When you see the word MONGREY PROPERTIES Please kindly run away.

They actually do NOT deserve a star... Very unprofessional.. I stay in Lucille Court Dirkie Uys Street Witpoortjie.. Been without water since last Wednesday 4 September 2024..(due to them NOT paying COJ) .. Monica DOES NOT or can't be bothered to respond to my whatsapp messages.... I find this service unacceptable.... I have paid my account yet I am paying for their negligence... Apparently they owe R200,000 to COJ.. Where is all the money paid by the tenants... I think something ******* is going on here. My reference number is: ALU580

Deeply disappointed in Mongrey Properties, Managing agent of our Body Corporate. Complex unit owners requested 2 be notified of Trustee meeting- supposed to receive it within 7 days. Never did. Requested numerous times to get the minutes- still didn’t. Asked info, over the phone- owner, Monica, promised 2 provide within few days, but didn’t. Also doesn’t reply to emails. Say they are registered with PPRA- Why not then do what is required? She allowed for funds to be paid out of the BC account - in direct contradiction with a vote (as per CSOS finding) AGM Nov 2020. Matter was then closed. (Vote 15 to 5 in favour of BC Not 2 pay claims of former trustees for their CCMA appearance as the dismissal was unfair & they should Not have been at the CCMA in the 1st place. Trustees should still adhere 2 the law) This matter was just reopened (AGM Nov.2022) without prior notice to owners or valid reason. She was notified about this & asked to stop that payment - she didn’t
