Used the Edenvale branch Fantastic service, great product knowledge. They even recommended a cheaper product because it suited my needs better. Can recommend them highly. Good product range knowledgeable staff

I would rather support Bike Kings which is around the corner where they actually value their customers. The shop attendant was really unfriendly, had a terrible attitude, showed absolutely no willingness to assist and had no concept of customer service. You lost 3 new customers, all wanting to buy our start-up gear. Also please explain how one buys a helmet without touching it because we were told not to in a very demeaning and rude tone. We are newbies and are still learning which is why we ask questions, so it's really unprofessional to respond to a customer by saying 'obviously'. We are there to get help and advice, not sarcasm. Will not revisit nor recommend anyone one to go there.

I would rather support Bike Kings which is around the corner where they actually value their customers. Ben was very helpful in assisting us with clothing purchase. Well stocked shop and they were running a 30% off clearance sale. Easy parking and access is also a big plus.

With great disappointment i visited the Boksburg branch to buy some bike accessories and the service i received was not bad but some of the staff and some of the clients was not wearing masks at all and NO Covid protocol, Staff members asking clients not to wear a mask or stating that its no need to wear a mask. This is not the first time this has happened and we've decided that we will be taking this to the right people, I've spoken to a health & safety officer and they will visit the MOTOMATE branches and surely hope they close the shop until staff are trained and the appropriate Covid protocol can be followed. You and your staff are endangering the lives of people visiting your store, This is not even to say the least that the staff member that assisted us smelled like a local liquor store and still had the decency to brag about it to other clients. I will for sure never visit this branch or any of the MOTOMATE STORES and I will NEVER recommend anyone to support this store and you will for sure read more about my complaint on all social media platforms .

The staff from the top floor really went the extra mile to assist us in every way they could. We spent a fair amount of money though and kept them there an hour after closing but still nothing was too much trouble for them.

I was a new customer at motomate. I needed a tank bag urgently this past Monday (.. so a few days ago) as I was leaving next day out of the country. They didnt have the one I wanted so I requested the GIVI bag but my card didn't go through because of a bank issue. They had already put a ring (R290) so I just gave them a deposit of R1000. Later that day I changed my mind as the bag I wanted has a metal base and this one is plastic. I called today and the nag still hasnt arrived. It was due to have come by Wednesday or today, and I asked for a refund and David refused. Not only is this illegal but it's poor customer relations, esspcially for a new biker and a potential lifelong customer.

Been a client of Moto Mate for many years , been supporting their Rivonia and Edenvale branches and as a business owner received a 18% discount, went to the moto mate store in Boksburg and received a 10% discount, I know the manager Mpho for some years now and had generally good services from her when she was just a sales person at Moto Mate Edenvale although I could see she was new in the industry and was clue less on how to deal with business owners in general but I still supported the company , I decided to call and asked why it was that I now receive 10% and not the usual 18%, here is where her lack of business and people s****s really shone through so brightly, I was told it was a privilege to receive a discount and that she trained her staff to only give 10% ..... well I am not a once off client and should not be treated as such , but seeing as its such a privilege to deal with Moto Mate I have decided to change suppliers , I am more then sure they will be happy to have my business and it will be a privilege to rather deal with SBK then Moto Mate in particular Mpho, Not sure why her attitude changed but clearly being a manager is not for her and has given her the idea that clients come last , Her management s****s are a laugh a minute and Moto Mate should consider investing in educated people or send her on a short management course at least ,maybe then she will understand the value of clients and maybe Moto Mate will keep their clients.
