Movit Mobility fail
Our experience was horrifying, not only were we **** to but they had no clue where our goods were. The first issue we had was we were sold the idea that they wouldn't use a 3rd party to move our goods that was the sale pitch which they did, the excuse was that because it was planned so late they had no vehicles but we planned 6 weeks in advanced and this was their sales pitch. Secondly they forget my dishwasher which I received almost three months later not to mention all the breakage that I experienced from the 3rd party that moved us. Now for the insurance which we paid for fully comprehensive and an amount of R3500 we could not use, well apparently we filled in the documents incorrectly and this was the excuse but they were happy to take my the premium and never said that the documents were completed incorrectly. Well we were explained to by the insurance that this should have been explained which it was not and apparently I was under insured hence why I couldn't claim. I insured for 150K my claim was around 6k now can you imagine the feeling I cant claim for 6k when I insured for 150k. I would say be careful and if not sure rather use the big boys because we could have lost everything and would have had no insurance cover.

Awful company!
What an awful company to work with! All sweet talk from the CEO Jacques when sourcing business to do a shared groupage to Dubai and absolutely rotten service, arrogance and attitude from him thereafter. The lady Pat is as inefficient as can be, failing to take calls or reply to emails. Their given number doesn’t work/exist! Do not stick to dates and once they have your items they basically show you the middle finger because they are paid and you can do nothing about it. Promised to have my daughter’s entire household contents shipped to Dubai within 6-8weeks. With absolutely no communication, a different excuse everytime and no feedback we find out that this shipment has been delayed 3 times and still sitting in South Africa. They refuse to respond to our query for documentation to track the whereabouts of our items. They have not provided us with the very necessary seaway bill so we cannot even trace the movement of her items. She is stranded in Dubai without housing and is unable to move into a place as they have all of her furniture and possessions. Ofcourse they covered themselves in the contract to not be liable to assist with any hotel costs. They have no empathy and offer absolutely no support especially for a young girl who has made a new move to a foreign country. I now find out that the first person who loaded their items with them for the shared groupage is waiting for his goods for 8 MONTHS! It was him who was trying to find people to add to share this container on Facebook and unfortunately we got roped in. So clearly they cannot even source their business but want to offer a service that the cannot deliver! PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

Great container shipping from SA to Australia
Great prices, customer service was good and our container arrived safely with only 1 broken Dish (more so due to our insufficient use of bubble wrap). We packed our own boxes and provided an inventory list, this way we felt we were able to pack more efficient to make use of space.
