I have advertised a vehicle on Cars.co.za, about a month and a half ago. I was informed that Weelee would contact me. Until now, nothing. Zero. This is the last time I would try and sell vehicles on Cars.co.za....via/though them or Weelee. Nonsense service from both of them. They are simply not intrested.

I recently bid on a car and I was out bid. Then 3 week's later I successfully bid for a car and my offer was decline. Even the first one I think the were people just came during last hour to drive the price up.I recently bid on a car and I was out bid. The auction company is doing "INSIDER SHILL BIDDING" an extremely unethical business and auction practice. 1. They inflate the trade-in and market price value of cars A car that is worth 180 000 will be priced at 196 000 and they wil still push beyond the asking price using ghost shill bidders 2. They have an asking price on cars - something that is not consistent with auction practice. 3. When bidding gets to the so-called asking price - they bid against the last highest bidder to get 100% plus 10.1% as profit for the company. 4. I asked why they not just sell the car for the asking price as their SHILL BIDDING drives bidding to asking price and beyond - instead of creating stone of anticipation for aspirant car buyers through auction. No proper explanation except that the bank wants the asking price - which is not consistent with bank auctions that I have attended and bought cars from. 5. Communication paperwork is fine - except their unethical practice of INSIDER SHILL BIDDING and should be reported to association of auctioneers. 6. WARNING: Buy at your own peril - as it is not a genuine auction of Fleet, repossessed and private vehicles BUT ordinary inflated sale disguised as Auction. 7. MyCars.co.za is in the business of selling cars at over market price and NOT auctioning cars.

Peter was absolutely useless. I uploaded over 50 images and the first batch included every angle required in high quality . He still requested more images. He then chose the images when the car was not washed and has yet to change it and update my AD. This was absolutely ridiculous as they usually require 7 and I have like 70 uploaded images, but still no live Auction.

Would like to know how they justify the amount of R7500 in order to join and the n a further R7500 for each and every other vehicle if anyone outbids you on any one vehicle. This could cost you a tidy sum before you even manage to secure a vehicle. Think carefully before you deposit your hard earned cash because you could be making someone else rich!

I am not sure about the purpose of this website. This website allows shill bidding which is unethical to any company pretending to sell items on auction. At one time, I wanted to buy a Hyundai Accent. I communicate with a seller to find out the amount they were looking for. I monitored the auction. The car was about to sell much lower that the owner expected. When I tries to bid, someone bid against me until close to that required amount. I left it for the contender. I saw this car being sold a number of times on this website. I reported the shill bidding practice but I notice the continuation of same pattern. I just gave up on mycars.co.za. I will never use this website to purchase a car. They are not serious.
