I went to the Bouganville Branch on Friday 18th June 2021.
I wanted to purchase some goods to the total value of R 187.00. I produce an R200 note in order to pay the invoice amount. The woman behind the till/counter informed me that this Company does not take R200 notes for payments. I WAS VERY EMBARRASSED, tolding the lady that I've just withdraw the cash from the ATM outside. She persisted that she is not allowed to take the money. I can pay with other money (R100, R50, etc. ) BUT NOT WITH AN R220 NOTE. I ask the women if she thinks that the R200 note is falsely, on which she answerd me "I don't care, we do not take R200 notes from customers"
I WAS A REGULAR CUSTOMER AT THIS BRANCH - I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO ANY OF THIS COMPANY'S BRANCHES.
If the company does not give me an official appologies (NOT FROM THE WORKER - BUT FROM THE CEO) - replying from this writing, I will take this matter futher !!
